Jazz Trade:
82 - Andrei Kirilenko - $12,338,437 71 - Derek Fisher - $5,880,000 08 2nd rounder
Total: $18,218,437
------------------------------------------------------------
Bucks Trade:
85 - Michael Redd - $13,260,000 70 - Ruben Patterson - $7,828,050
Total: $21,088,050
-------------------------------------------------------------
This trade works under the 125% rule.
The Bucks get AK47 that will add a defensive presence at the SF position to complement Villanueva & Bogut (Neither are great defensive players). They also get an experienced proven PG in Fisher
Utah gets a great scorer in Redd & some cap relief for next season in Patterson. I know this now leaves us with a gap at PF, but we have Stromile Swift that can step in. We are already in the process of moving Mike Miller for a big
As GM of the Jazz, I accept.

How was this trade better than the one I offered you? Kirilenko is having a horrible season and Fisher isnt getting any younger
Note: not saying this is unfair, just wondering his reasoning

yeah but the playoffs are the most important time of year and kirilenko has been doing great during the playoffs, which is why he will be exactly 85 next year (if you don't believe me, watch baron davis skyrocket, and look at what the playoffs did for wade and shaq last year)

Yeah Utah, in 08 he will be around 80. Redd is quite a bit better then him regardless.... I don't think I can approve this honestly. Yeah my division would get weaker, but I don't cheat to win.

i disagree, Kirelenko is s Defensive specialist that got a lot less touches than in previous years, I think that with Lives feelings that (we cant be wrong about ratings, so we overrate the previously overrated and underrate the previously underrated) Kirelenko should hang at about 85. Regardless Redd will get most of the touches on a Defensively weak Milwaukee. This deal is fair when broken down
Milwaukee gets - Better Defence -More oppurtunities for Villanueva, Offensive Bogut, Williams and Simmons to Score -A Pick
Utah gets - A reliable offensive option -Cap room for the offseason
I accept

This is quite a close one to call. My first doubt was wondering who Milwaukee would play at Shooting Guard but I see they've got Williams doing that anyway on their DC and Redd out of position at SF. This trade would allow Kirilenko and Redd to revert back to their original positions, plus I don't think there's too much of a talent gap.
Boston accepts.

I dont know how u can say AK47 will be an 80. Michael Finley hasnt been anywhere near what hes been in the past 3 years & he is still a 78. U really think AK47 after 1 down year will be an 80? Hes been an 89 & 90 the past 2 games. Also, how can u say Redd is significantly better than him? Redd is a scorer, thats it. He doesnt rebound or get assists or steals. AK47 doesnt put up great offensive numbers, but he never has in the past either. I know his numbers are down this year but he wont drop below an 85 & the same way Redd will never be above an 85 b/c all he does is score. This trade was purely an offensive for defensive trade so its really not fair to compare Redd & AK47 numbers straight up

That's two accepts and one reject, so I guess this trade is ok since Utah can't vote.
