Seems pretty fair. Minnesota gets a real Centre, and New York gets some picks and contract relief.

I've already said I don't think this is fair in PMs with Minnesota. I think Curry is overrated to begin with. And I don't understand how Minnesota's motivation to build a talented young team involves him trading away his next two first round draft picks... It makes my head hurt trying to understand...

I'm making Curry 81 overall Boston. I still have to agree to that edit: Minnesota, please take Curry out of your signature. This deal is still being decided.

I'm making Curry 81 overall Boston. I still have to agree to that I might be biased since I'm a Knick fan, but I think that Curry's rating should be at least an 80. Sure he's not the best defender or rebounder in the league, but he is a top 2 or 3 pure back to the basket post presence in the league. Even at a rating of 77, Eddy has managed to put up 20.25 points per game in these opening games. Judging by this past season (in reality), Curry is a legitimate all-star caliber player.

Curry's defense and rebounding are an absolute joke in real life. Regardless, he is one of the hardest Centres to stop in the league. Problem is, he never gets the ball cause he plays with 5 or 6 chuckers on the perimiter.

So actually, even though I said earlier he should probably be rated higher, the simulation has been fairly accurate to Curry's typical statistics.

those first 2 trades were done before the new rule was put into place. The amount of trades is up to the bosses. I can understand if u are just trading to trade, but Im trying to build a caliber team.

Problem is, he never gets the ball cause he plays with 5 or 6 chuckers on the perimiter. I agree with what you said about his rebounding and defense, but offensively he has mad strides this season. Without exaggerating, I could say that almost every opposing team (outside of HOU, MIA, and a few others), were forced to at least double and sometimes triple Curry whenever he touched the ball in the post. However, Eddy struggles to pass the ball out without turning it over. And when he did pass it outside this year, NY didn't really have a consistent shooter to penalize the defense. Crawford and Richardson are streaky at best when it comes to the open 3.

The limitations on trades can start as of today because, regardless of how many you have, they still have to be accepted/rejected so you can't tank it or anything.

I agree, the use of the 07 and 08 picks creates Curry being over-paid for. But im up to debate that opinion with

To get one of the Top 5 Centers in the league sometimes u gotta pay to get what u want.
Edited: + im getting 2 2nd round picks for scrubs and not too many #1's are going to be that good when the game comes out.

Thats a decent point, but I dont really Consider Curry one of the 5 best, barely a top 10. Not all Centers are played there in this game.
Yao Shaq Okur Amare Duncan Ben Wallace Jermaine O'Neal More if I had time

Thats a decent point, but I dont really Consider Curry one of the 5 best, barely a top 10. Not all Centers are played there in this game. Yao Shaq Okur Amare Duncan Ben Wallace Jermaine O'Neal More if I had time Of that list, I would only take Yao, Amare, and Duncan over Curry RIGHT NOW in terms of trade value around the league. Shaq has only a few good years at best in him. Okur is good outside shooter, but I wouldn't want him as my "center". Ben Wallace's contract and age would give the edge to Curry. Jermaine is a close call and that could go either way. He has a HUGE contract as well as serious injury concerns. So I think its fair to say that in terms of TRADE VALUE around the league, Eddy Curry is a top 5 center. He might not be a top 5 center in terms of what he will give you this year, but in the larger picture, he ranks among the highest centers in trade value. By the way, is this trade that much different than that in real life which was something like this: CHI trades: Eddy Curry (who at the time had heart concerns) Antonio Davis (huge expiring contract) NY trades: Tim Thomas (huge expiring contract) Mike Sweetney (slight potential...not known as a scrub at the time) Jermaine Jackson (thow in) NYK 2006 1st round draft pick option to swap picks in 2007 draft NYK 2007 2nd round draft pick NYK 2009 2nd round draft pick According to a real-life NBA trade, Eddy Curry, who at the time was slightly undervalued because of his heart condition, was able to draw a comparable package to that of the NY-MIN deal in this sim league.

Before we go further, first someone answer me the question I asked earlier: How does trading away his next two years 1st round draft picks and a nice veterans expiring contract help out Minnesota in rebuilding his team?!
I think this is the most one-sided trade I've seen so far and I just cannot comprehend how it's accepted.

Im rebuilding, but I am in it to win it this year. You can rebuild and still try to win. First round picks will be nothing important to me. As you can see I will trade and trade until I get the roster I want. I really really want this trade and its a fair trade. I dont want to sit here all season and not win games. Im here to compete and Im not here to make the wolves a bad team and then leave. Ive been in many leagues and I always stick with it. Please accept this trade and understand I am here to win and I will win games. All we need is one more approval. Its not a bad trade and I hope that Boston may as well change his mind. He gets future picks and I get Curry to help me win it now.
Thanks

I was able to open up a roster spot with the 2 for 1 trade with Orlando so there will still be room for Cato.
