According to Ric Rucher on ESPN Radio, the Knicks will acquire....RON ARTEST!!! before the season starts. He thinks the trade will be something like Nate Robinson, Jarred Jeffries, the 2 expiring contracts of Dickau and Fred Jones for Ron Ron.
What do you guys think about this? It has to make the Knicks playoff locks, right?
As a Knicks fan, I love the idea of getting a shut down wing player, but I'm really not sure how Ron is going to fit in on the offensive end. I caught a few Kings games last year, and he seemed very selfish despite having guys like Bibby, Martin, and Miller.
DISCLAIMER: I am not making up this trade. This is a real-life trade unlike the Lebron to NY thread.

I know Ron would love to play there.... but let's be honest. The guy's a nut. And with him, Marbury, Randolph, and Crawford all being chuckers... I just don't know if there's enough shots to go around, especially when you add McCurry in.
Toronto will still kick NY's ass.

Toronto will still kick NY's ass. If this trade goes down, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that NY wins the season series with the 's next season....or if they play 4 times, at least split it. If I lose, I will give you Marc Jackson in this league.
