The Thunder acquire a legit wing in Granger, a young SG who is efficient and can defend in Lee, a PF/C who can defend the post in Anderson, and a future 1st. We exchange an explosive offensive player in Ellis, David Lee who is great on the boards as well as being an offensive threat, and the 5th overall.
As a new GM, this begins to set the Thunder in the direction I aspire, one toward defense, and shifts our image to an extent, as well as opening cap space presently, and in the future. Additionally we acquire a player who can be relied on offensively. GS can explain why he accepted, though I will say David Lee's weaknesses will be masked to an extent at PF next to Biedrins(and he is on a very fair contract), and Ellis will provide another weapon offensively. And there are a number of directions he can go with the 5th to further his team.
If there are any questions about why the Thunder accept, I will address that.
