I can't remember a closer finish for 'bottom of the league' status in the real NBA. Check out the bottom spots in the league as we enter April:

what are we doing for the lottery? i, as a lower lottery pick, don't even think we should do one and just go by record. I think that way keeps it fair and keeps the league balanced.

Without even looking at these standings or my position in them, I'm going to have to agree with this guy^^^. It just seems like the fair thing to do. EDIT: Hmm, that's interesting. I took a look at the standings and it appears that I'm dead last. Wow, it looks like I'm getting the top pick due to the "Seattle Rule". j/k...WE ARE GOING TO DO A LOTTERY AND I AGREE 300% WITH HAVING A LOTTERY.

why? the lottery is why some teams so bad for so long...i don't think that a team's future should be decided by ping-pong balls. it takes everything completely out of the hands of the GM. And its not like we can tank or anything in this game so by record would be fair

This thread calls for haiku reflection:

Eh, I was hoping for higher, but I can deal with 3rd place. Hopefully the lottery balls fall my way...

Um...you still finished dead last by winning some sort of tiebreaker (not sure what it is). Congratulations, by the way!

Yeah I'm not sure how Sacramento comes to be beneath Philadelphia. Maybe I'll have to decide by a coin-toss who goes last when it comes to determining the lottery balls?
