The Highs and Woes in Chicago Earlier in the season the temperature in the Windy City soared with the arrival of superstar forward Kevin Garnett to form what is perhaps the greatest defensive frontcourt duo in the league with center Ben Wallace! Things continued to get better for Chicago as Cleveland fell out of the race for the Central Division during their depressing 11 game slide last month and for the first time it looked as if Chicago was within grasp of clinching it from the Pistons. But the month of March has brought with it only pain for the Bulls, who are currently on a six game losing streak - easily their longest of the season - and have dropped from 2nd seed to 4th in the East. Chicago's slipped from looking like a powerhouse and has become a team that's standing on an unsteady pedastal!
To make matters worse, their current 4th place seeding places them against the Orlando Magic, currently in 5th, who lead the season-series against the Bulls with 3 wins and zero losses (including a 51 point vanquishing in January)!
Orlando Magic vs Chicago Bulls - Regular Season Series: 2006/01/11 - Chicago (60) vs (111) Orlando 2007/02/26 - Orlando (97) vs (94) Chicago 2007/03/08 - Chicago (87) vs (101) Orlando
