First Round of the Playoffs begins
Results of Draft Lottery begin to be posted (one team every day for two weeks, teams 14 to 7)
(Sunday, 18th of October)
Semi-Finals of the Playoffs begin
Draft Lottery results still posted daily (teams 6 to 1)
(Sunday, 25th of October)
Conference Finals of the Playoffs begin
Rookie Draft starts (All first rounders are automatically signed to their teams. Second rounders must be signed manually by each GM. Rookie contracts do not count against your Salary Cap until the start of Regular Season Free Agency - when the Season first tips off.)
(Sunday, 1st of November)
Dynasty Five Finals begin
(Sunday, 8th of November)
Playoffs end
Trading resumes for all teams
Unsigned second rounders from previous year's draft enter free agency
Retired players retire
Salary Charts progress to 2009/10
(Sunday, 15th of November)
Player Agents decide which of the players in their division with Player Options in their contracts will opt-out.
Contract Extension Period, Team Options Period & Off Season Free Agency begins (Opposing GMs can try to steal your players before you re-sign them. Priority to sign a player will always be with the player's current team, but if you take too long to start making offers to your players another GM will get there before you! Reward points will now play a role in the negotiation process!)
(Sunday, 22nd of November)
Team Option Deadline (players who have not been picked up by their team will enter free agency)
Players agents begin making decisions regarding who signs where during Free Agency.
(Sunday, 29th of November)
Contract Extension Period & Off Season Free Agency Period End.
Regular Season Free Agency begins (All un-signed players enter RSFA. Rookie Contracts now count against each team's Salary Cap.)
(Sunday, 6th of December)
Roster cut-down deadline (all teams must have between 12 and 15 players)
