Brand is a 90. Sorry Utah, I just don't see him as being that good That's debatable IMO. However given Brand's injuries the past 2 seasons I can understand him warranting a slight ratings decrease. Elton Brand has averaged 20 & 10 since stepping foot in the NBA from day 1 and with the exception of the past 2 seasons he has had little to no injury problems. Elton Brand's 10 Year Career Stats: 20.0 ppg - 10.1 rpg - 2.0 bpg - .503 FG% - 0.736 FT% IMO Brand could come down slightly but if you've watched the NBA over the past 10 years you could see that Brand is definitely 1 of the best Power Forwards in the game despite being undersized by traditional NBA standards. He has made numerous All Star teams and played on several USA teams. Brand can score, rebound, and defend and there are not many players in the NBA that can do all three of those things and do them at a very high level consistently. I don't think its fair to punish Brand just b/c he has had 2 freak injuries and the 2 shortened seasons he played he still put up better numbers than the majority of big men in the league. For Brand a 90 might be a little to high but he should not drop below an 88 IMO.

Well, well well... what have we here
If i recall correctly, it was either last year or the year before that everyone wanted to put Jermaine O'Neal down. My exact argument was that he had been injured so obviously his stats are going to be worse. Still goes down.
Sorry Utah, just how the world works.
Brand- 82

82? Steady on there, good sir! I'm thinking an 85 or 86 minimum.

Well, I say 82 because he WAS healthy enough to play 32 mpg in 29 games this season, and he only averaged 13.8 ppg and 8.8 rpg while shooting .447% from the field
I dont see why Brand warrants only a 4-5 point drop while you want to drop a guy like Allen Iverson a whole 10 points

I've stated my case for Elton Brand and I think it is an extremely valid argument. Brand has done it on the court for 8 straight seasons averaging 20 & 10 and then his numbers came down due to injury the past 2 seasons. I don't think he should be any lower than 88-87

I'd say lower his overall rating to an 87-88 then lower his durability.

Brand's now averaging 10pts and 5rebounds for the Sixers. I know it's early in the season, but damn.

He's done, it's just a matter of how fair you want to be to Utah. I say an 85 for this year.

I agree with NJ, he's having a terrible season thus far and he's been perfectly healthy too. 82-83 but definitely under 86.

I'm gonna say no lower then 86, I know he hasn't started out to good so far but the last time I checked we're just 14 games into the season. And besides his game at Washington he's been playing a little better with recent games of 19pts 11rbds 6blks, 22pts 6rbds 4blks, and 18pts 14rbds 1blk.

As poor as Elton Brand has played this season he is averaging almost identical numbers to Kevin Garnett who is rated 97.
