Stats: 14.2 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.1 bpg
Bargs has significantly improved his defense this season and has shown to be a very explosive scorer... he is a star in the making
Suggested rating change: 75-78

I think we should just wait and see how this year plays out before we bump him, but he if he keeps it up I say 77-79 range.

why is it that we are quick to jump the gun on some guys but then some guys need to "prove themself"?
complete bias...

Me and NJ don't agree very often on these things, but here I do agree. Bargnani has just been amazing since JO has left. I think a small increase (76-78) is in store.

His stats for the year aint so great. Altho they're all his career best:
14.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.1bpg
I think a 76 or 77 is fair for now. Nate the Great has been moved to a 76 because of his recent play.

Not to mention, Nate's stats dwarf Bargnani's....If that's the comparison being made here, its comedy at its finest.

I think, if you look at his career so far, he shouldn't have been rated a 75 during that time, obviously. I think he's only just starting to fulfill that level now.

I understand that, but the fact is you were quick to raise Rondo and would not listen to anyone elses opinion, even though he is having his first good season, but now that Bargnani is being discussed, you think it is ridiculous to raise him
where is the consistency?

If Bargnani was playing at a 78 level I'd agree to raise him there too. Only Denver gave his opinion about Rondo and it seemed pretty clear that he needed a boost. Everyone's opinions on Bargnani seem pretty mixed so far. He's having a good stretch of games since, I dunno, December-ish? But, as Philly said, let's see if he can keep it up before boosting him to a 78. A 76 or something, which is only 1 point higher, seems to be the most realistic change at the moment IMO. What d'you think?

I am sorry I have to agree with NJ, Bargnani has been improving for slowly each year a little bit. on the OTHER HAND Nate Was just a highlight real and a dunker before Mike D'Antoni came, he was a complete nobody and now Mike D made him somebody. it's one thing when player improves on his own it's another thing when a ENTIRE system makes a team better like D'Antoni's did with Nash, Marion, and Amare.
