This thread I will leave here as a thanks to the NBA Live Series Center community for the use of their freely created and distributed player ratings. Whilst we impose our own rating changes on players, all original ratings have come from their rosters.

Why don't we just use their ratings from now on? Wouldn't it be best to use a non-bias outside source instead of the arguments that go on here for ratings changes? No one would be able to complain since the ratings are coming from an outside source and not people that have players in the league and might have an agenda behind their ratings changes (NJN?).

That could be an option. The problem is guys like Kirilenko and Josh Smith being rated 92. However, that's also, ironically, not a problem too, because his stats will at least still be realistic...
I try to define a middle-ground between the two styles when I make rating changes myself.

Well can we vote on this option or something? It seems to be the most logical and easiest option.

Post one in the General Discussion if you like. I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions.

Although, I actually like having everyone discussing stuff. The more activity the better. But yea it'd still be interesting to see what ppl think.
