New Jersey’s Player Changes
Ok, I decided to go through and create my own rating changes. I did not take statistics solely into account, it is more of the impact a player has on the game and so forth…tell me what you think. I did not do my own team
Rajon Rondo 72-76 (BOS) Anderson Varejao 68-71 (BOS) Deron Williams 85-90 (BOS) David Lee 75-78 (NYK) Greg Oden 82-74 (NYK) Rodney Stuckey 69-75 (NYK) Derrick Rose 82-78 (NYK) Michael Beasley 82-76 (NYK) Roger Mason 63-72 (NYK) Raja Bell 72-78 (PHI) Yi Jianlin 77-75 (PHI) Baron Davis 88-82 (PHI) Ramon Sessions 61-73 (PHI) Ronnie Brown 72-78 (TOR) Chris Paul 86-90 (CHI) Rudy Fernandez 63-72 (CHI) Zydrunas Ilgauskus 75-83 (CLE) Richard Jefferson 85-78 (CLE) Rasheed Wallace 87-74 (DET) Paul Millsap 72-76 (IND) Emeka Okafor 84-80 (IND) Jerryd Bayless 74-70 (IND) Mike Miller 74-78 (IND) Maurice Williams 78-83 (MIL) Chris Kaman 80-82 (MIL) Josh Howard 88-85 (MIL) Eric Gordon 74-77 (MIL) Danny Granger 80-90 (ATL) Jose Calderon 76-80 (ATL) DJ Augustin 71-75 (ATL) Chauncey Billups 83-88 (CHA) Bobby Jackson 76-72 (MIA) Eddy Curry 79-75 (MIA) Jameer Nelson 75-80 (MIA) Channing Frye 77-70 (ORL) Darrell Arthur 67-72 (ORL) Gilbert Arenas 91-86 (WAS) Al Harrington 79-82 (WAS) Shaquille O’Neal 82-86 (WAS)

Agreed on most. The ones I have a beef with;
Raja Bell 72-78 (PHI). 78 is too high for a player who has had a defined role in the NBA for 6-7 years. That role being a good defensive player and spot up 3-point shooter. maybe 75.
Baron Davis 88-82 (PHI). 1 bad year should not drop him to an 82. I see a drop, but not that far. Maybe 85-86.
Chris Paul 86-90 (CHI). If Deron is going to be a 90, CP3 has to be a 92-93. They are not even.
Zydrunas Ilgauskus 75-83 (CLE). Dont understand this one at all.
Richard Jefferson 85-78 (CLE). What?
Rasheed Wallace 87-74 (DET). LOL
Danny Granger 80-90 (ATL). 90 is wat too high. Maybe 85 max. I want to see him keep up this pace for more than 1 year.

Rasheed Wallace 87-74 (DET). LOL Danny Granger 80-90 (ATL). 90 is wat too high. Maybe 85 max. I want to see him keep up this pace for more than 1 year. Raja Bell: I think he should be a 75 for his defense alone... one of the best on-ball defenders in the league. That being said, I gave him up to a 78 because of his newfound scoring ability in Charlotte.. he is becomming a major part of the offense and is actually leading that team a nice little stretch right now... I watch tons of Charlotte games since I live in NC and I really think Bell is 78 quality. Baron Davis: I see your argument of one bad year, but I really think his nice stats were the result of a system in Golden State, and not necessarily individual talent. That is why I would like to see him put up numbers on a new team before giving him credit. But, it can also be looked at the other way (your perspective) that it is just an off year. Chris Paul: Ehhh, I put them both at 90 on purpose. Honestly, and I know no one agrees, but I think Deron is actually the better of the guards. I would like to see what kind of numbers CP puts up in Utah, and Deron in New Orleans. Nonetheless, the consensus is that CP is better, so I would not argue if he is rated higher. Zydrunas Ilgasukus: He is an absolute monster and has not been getting the respect he deserves for ages. He changes the game with his presence down low, and is a huge force for rebounds (especially offensive). He has improved his jumpshot this year, and is even shooting threes now. I know a lot of people give credit to Mo Williams for the Cavs successes this season, but having watched multiple Cavs games, I think Z is the major improvement. Richard Jefferson: He is not good. I am a Nets fan and love RJ, but he is just not a quality player. I categorize him with guys like Stephen Jackson. He is more the result of the amount of touches he gets rather than actual skill. He only shoots 42% (Jamal Crawford numbers), and his rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks are down from his Jersey days. I don't really think a 78 is too harsh, but a 85 is definately generous. Rasheed Wallace: Well, my friend (detroit in this league) is a huge Pistons lover, and I often watch the games so I can point out all the mistakes they make. That being said, Rasheed Wallace is horrible. They would have easily beaten the Cavaliers if Coach Curry would have taken him out at the end of the game, and I think Detroit (league) agrees. Rasheed has become a cancer to the organization because Dumars feels obligated to start him because of his name. Rasheed shoots 42% from the field (as a big man?) and gets .8 offensive rebounds per game. He is an absolute joke and a mockery to all of the big men around the league. Danny Granger: I have been high on Granger for years now, and his stats are finally up there. He is a game changer, can take over games, and I think within the next two years will be classified with the best of the best. His defense is phenomenal and there really appears to be no weakness to his game. The 82 that Boston had posted to him is a joke IMO, and while a 90 would be good, somewhere around an 85 I could see as suffice.

Big Z has been good, but I wouldn't call him a monster by any means. I'm one of these people that give Mo Williams credit for the Cavs successes this season. Mo Williams has played all season whereas Big Z has missed 20 games. And as for his numbers, they are down all-around from his career numbers.
RJ may be a "bad" player in your opinion, but just about every GM IRL would want this guy on their team. I don't think he and Redd meshed as well as him and VC did. Check his stats after Redd went down (last 6 games), his numbers have gone up all throughout. I believe as the season goes on, he improves his play.
I agree Sheed has been on the down swing for some time now, but a 74 is utterly ridiculous. Hes still a dominant player in the post when he wants to be. I know, I know, players should "want to" all the time, but for some reason Sheed is different. He just needs to stop taking all those dang jumpers. I think a 80 rating for him for this season would be logical based on his past accolades.

I like where ya went with my team ... Maurice Williams 78-83 (MIL) Chris Kaman 80-82 (MIL) Josh Howard 88-85 (MIL) Eric Gordon 74-77 (MIL) I agree with the ratings increase for Gordon...he's playing pretty decent. Howard @ 85 is fair. His totals are down a bit from previous years. I honestly think Mo should be at least an 80/81. he's having a great year in Clev. Kaman's numbers are also down from previous seasons, so 82 is a bit high. 78 is OK, I just wish all the increases/decreases had waited until the beginning of the next season or prior the the start of thsi season.

Do not agree with Rose, Billups and Big Z. The rest are relatively acceptable NJ.
