Denver Nuggets @ San Antonio Spurs
November 1st showcases the late game as two of the league's preseason top 5 battle it out in San Antonio. Number 5 Denver travels to the AT&T Center to meet up with the always solid Spurs. Led by anchor Tim Duncan and sharpshooter Manu Ginobli, the Spurs were cruising to the best record in the league last season. Sadly, Duncan suffered a season-ending injury, and Manu had to carry this team to the playoffs alone. The Spurs are definately out to redeem themselves, and there is no better way to start than against these up-and-comming Nuggets. This Denver team is led by allstar Carmelo Anthony and three point specialist Michael Redd. But, despite all of the offense on the Nuggets, don't look for this game to turn into a shooting clinic in Texas.
Prediction: Denver (88) @ San Antonio (92)
New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics
The New York Knicks have become the feel-good team in DynastyFive. This team is loaded with young talent just itching to get into some NBA action. These young-guns meet up with the Boston Celtics on November 2nd, a team predicted to be the 4th best in the league by our analysts. The Boston Celtics boast a big three of Deron Williams, Josh Smith, and Carlos Boozer, while the New York Knicks boast a big three rookie lineup with Rose, Beasley, and Oden. Look for the NBA debut of half the Knicks' roster to be spoiled though, as this early season Atlantic Division showdown gets underway.
Prediction: New York (104) @ Boston (114)
Atlanta Hawks @ Golden State Warriors
The showdown of the night comes as the up-and-comming Atlanta Hawks travel to the bay area to take on the Golden State Warriors. The Hawks may be youthful, but do not let their age fool you. This team has deadly weapons at every position and is just waiting for an opportunity to prove themselves. Led by star guard Joe Johnson and the always big Al Jefferson, the Hawks are in for a good season. The Warriors are in for a great game aswell. This will be the first game in over a season that Warriors fans do not see Kobe Bryant lacing up with the rest of the team. But there is still plently of firepower in the bay, with Jason Richardson and David West ready to score in bunches. I cannot guarantee a winner, but I can guarantee this: It will come down to the wire.
Prediction: Atlanta (111) @ Golden State (109)
