First of all congrats to The Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs and The Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavailiers.
Since I am a fan of an Eastern Conference team(who would have won the East-Hint Hint), I will be rooting for the East Champs. I hate Lebron James for the most part, but I did as well with Wade the years past. I hate the Spurs and I wish the Cavs the best of luck to win it all.
See ya guys next season....
Go Arenas and Wizards!!

If it weren't for cheap-shot-Horry the Spurs wouldn't be in the finals anyway. And I'm utterly sick of them succeeding at the expense of Boston (we should've had Duncan, way back when he was drafted). I'm definitely on the Cavs side.

I never would have expected Cleveland to beat Detroit in the Conference Finals so I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull off a 6 or 7 game series win over the Spurs. When you look at the Pistons and the Spurs, they are very similar teams and Cleveland disposed of the Pistons in 6 games.
Regardless, I am picking the Spurs to win in 5 games since they are a frickin' machine.

This is the finals I picked before the season. God I can get on my freinds backs now (Most of them said Phoenix and Miami). I picked San Antonio to win it all at the start of the season. But I am changing that now. Cavs in 6. LeBron just refuses to lose.

The East was just easier this season. The Cavs got the injured Wizards in the first round and got the Nets in the 2nd round. I didn't pick them to beat Detroit, but any team in the East playoffs except for maybe Orlando and Toronto could have made it to the ECF. The Cavs are just lucky they didnt have to play a rematch against a healthy Wizards squad in round 1. LBJ better just be happy they got lucky to make it to where they are. If it were not for the Injured Cavs it would have been the Wizards/Pistons in the ECF. It could have went either way. It was our year to pre-vail, but its ok the NBA fans got what they wanted. LBJ in the finals. Again I hate LBJ and although I want to see them lose, I wish them the best to win the East!

How can you say Toronto had no chance at making the ECF? They finished third in the east AFTER starting 2-8 due to having 9 new players. They had the 3rd best record in the ENTIRE NBA after January first. If it was not for Garbajosa breaking a leg, Bargnani's appendix, and Bosh getting mauled every time he had the ball, and not getting calls... they would have destroyed New Jersey. Did you watch them at all during the season? They are miles better then when they had Carter back in 01 and went to the second round before Puss Puss Carter took a fadeaway in game 7 against the Sixers. Toronto is better then New Jersey, and Washington and Miami (possibly the worst team in the eastern playoffs). Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit could call beat Toronto in my mind though. Please learn the facts before you say something that utterly stupid.

Excuse me. I watch more basketball then you ever will. Ive watched it since I was probably 5 or 6. Toronto is a good team. They beat us 2 out of 3 during the season.(Even though we were hurt in some), but Orlando and Toronto had no chance @ the ECF. Maybe in a year or 2. If Washington would have been healthy all year they would have been the #2 or 3 seed. You need to watch the games more! I call it as I see it and thats how I saw it.
My Rankings of the East This Season:
1.Pistons 2.Wizards 3.Bulls 4.Cavs 5.Toronto 6.Miami 7.Nets 8.Orlando

You're both wrong. Clearly Bulls would whoop both Toronto and Wizards.

I think the writing was on the wall last night when Lebron airballed a free throw. Spurs in 4 is my prediction

No chance San An sweeps. 3 straight games in Cleveland. I say the Cavs win 2 of em. They already came back against Detroit, they will do it again. I just like boobie too much.

yeah gibson awesome...its hard to believe that he was the third player out of UT drafted last year (imagine if they had stayed-Gibson, DJ Augustine, PJ Tucker, Durant, Aldridge. thank god they didn't though cuz i'm a texas tech fan). He's a great player and my challenge Aldridge in the future for best longhorn in 06 draft.

Gibson Augustine Abrahms
are a great 3 man rotation in the backcourt
Tucker Durant Aldridge
are a godly front court.
Too bad my Arizona Wildcats didn't have Boobie. Instead we had Mustafa Shakur for 4 years. Now that guy is a joke. Good thing Budinger is amazing.

Ergh, staying awake until 2am every time there's a finals game is really taking it's toll on my sleeping patterns.
