D5 MVP:
LeBron James - Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron had the stats to win MVP last season, but his supporting cast was far too lackluster to even give the High School Graduate (lolz) a chance at the playoffs. With an improved supporting cast including Richard Jefferson, and the guy who doesn't even know how he's not in Chicago, (Ben Gordon) this team looks poised to be a lock for the playoffs. Which will give the King his first ever MVP award.
D5 ROY:
Greg Oden - New York Knicks
Derrick Rose - New York Knicks
Michael Beasley - New York Knicks
Yeah that's right. They're all gonna win it. I don't wanna play New York a couple of years from now...
D5 MIP:
Jason Maxiell - Chicago Bulls
Call me biased, but I think this guy is the next bigman that's gonna break out in the NBA from out of nowhere. I can see him doing well in real life, and giving himself a mid season ratings boost, and subsequently doing really well in my starting line up with Chris Paul and Andre Igoudala getting him easy looks all day.
My other pick (non biased pick):
Jose Calderon - Atlanta Hawks
He's going to shine in real life feeding the ball to Chris Bosh and Jermaine O'Neal. Will get a ratings boost, plus the one he'll already be getting, and he'll be sick for Atlanta in D5.
D5 COY:
Sam Mitchell - Charlotte Bobcats
He will get it because Charlotte will have the best improvement in D5 due to a great offseason. Mitchell is a brutal coach for the record. But congrats to Charlotte's GM on winning this one.
