Ron Artest was traded to the Rockets for a 1st round pick in 2009, bobby jackson and a player to be named. They raped the Kings, lol. The Rockets are nasty now.

Yea the Kings should have at least dumped Kenny Thomas' contract on the Rockets though, so they get 2 late 1st rounders and Bobby Jackson and 1 mill, i still think its heavily a big time Rockets win, they now have one of the strongest big 3's and maybe a better team talent wise than Boston does, they still have Battier, Raefer Alston, Luis Scola, Dikembe, Steve Francis, Luther Head, Aaron Brooks and Chuck Hayes and money to resign Carl Landry, damn.

no its Alston/Francis/Brooks TMac/Barry/Head Artest/Battier/Novak Scola/Landry if resigned/ Hayes Yao/Dikembe/Joey Dorsey
Mike James isnt on the team traded to NO for Bobby Jackson, Battier becomes an awesome 6th man in the mold of a better James Posey. The Rockets now have 2 elite defenders to guard the Kobes, LeBrons, Carmelos, and Paul Pierces of the NBA.

Oh wow, I didn't know James was traded haha.
Well I guess the rockets will be pretty good...if Yao and Tmac can stay healthy.

They still won't be that good. I agree. Somehow I still don't see them getting past the 1st round.

I disagree, why I'm not totally impressed and thinks this makes them a serious contender, I believe it does improve the roster enough to make them an exciting team this year and give Houston a decent run.

He won't be the 2nd round virgin if he goes to the Pistons. With Artest already on board a starting 5 of
Alston Hamilton Artest Prince Ming
would be interesting. Also, Scola, Barry, and Battier would be coming off the bench. I like that team more than two ball dominating players (TMac and Artest) trying to play nice.

They would get Chauncy in return if he went to Pistons... they are eager to jump on the Stuckey Ship
Chauncy - Battier - Artest - Prince - Ming

It better not happen. I don't want McGrady. I like Prince, I like Chauncey, and I like Rip. Trade Sheed for a different big man. If we trade for T-mac I would rather put McGrady at SG alongside Prince. Stuckey McGrady Prince Mcdyess/Maxiell Sheed But I'd rather not go after T-mac for now. And I hope those rumors of the Pistons signing Kwame Brown aren't true...

It is though. It's at like 2mil/year or something. But some Detroit fans are optimistic about that.
