Yeah I heard he wanted to go to the Bulls.
I disagree about the Finals though. If its the Pistons/Spurs maybe. Even though I hate LBJ, him making it to the Finals will make the ratings fly. He's been playing ok the last 2 games. Only time will tell.
Go Wizards!

This is all Jerry Buss's fault, he had to go play GM with the Lakers.
If you didn't want Kobe and Shaq, why not trade both of them.
Pull a Sign and Trade with Kobe to another team or something.
Buss ran West, Phil Jackson temporarly, Shaq, and now Kobe.
Man I wish I was the GM of LAL, I could have fixed this mess Buss created.

5 trades that make sense for Lakers
5. Lakers send Kobe to the Mavs for Dirk OR
Lakers send Kobe to DAL for Terry, Harris, Dampier, and pick
4. Lakers send Kobe to the Knicks for Crawford, Richardson, Fyre and pick
3. Lakers send Kobe and Kwame to Suns for Marion, Barbosa, and 2 1st rd. picks
2. Lakers send Kobe to Portland for Brandon Roy and Zack Randolph
1. Lakers send Kobe and Bynum to Bulls for Deng, Gordon, and Wallace
wild card trades
Kobe and Vlad to Miami for Jason Williams, Antione Walker, Jason Kapono, Dorrell Wright, MIA 1st rd. and maybe filler to be named
Kobe to Boston for Pierce, Perkins, and 5th pick
and lastly
Kobe and Vlad to Cleveland for Hughes, Gibson, Varajao, and Gooden or Big Z

I think there's a possibility Kobe wont actually be traded. Kobe, for all his worth, seems like a bit of a reactionary type of person and rather self-centered. I think Buss and Kupchak are poor at their jobs, but I also think Kobe has made these comments because he wants change and not necessarily because what he said is true. Phil Jackson's even managed to make him change his feelings and now Kobe's realized he went too far and he's activating damage-limitation mode in his recent comments. It's behaviour that's quite reminiscent of a lot of Italians I've known and it's childish, a guy like Tim Duncan would never behave this way.

Also maybe because he grew as that rich boy I get everything kid since his father was a journeyman basketball player that was making a lot of cash. So environment could be an issue too. well I have got 2 trades that can fix this mess in LAL. 1. trade Odom, Vlad, 1st and 2nd rd. picks to IND for JO 2. Kwame, Bynum and 2nd rd. fot MEM for Gasol 3. trade Brian Cook and 08 2nd rd. of CHA to Orlando for both their 2nd rd. 4. with both 2nd rd. select Aaron Brooks and Glen Davis, if MEM or IND doesn't take the extra 2nd rd. then draft Nicoles and Daquean Cook then you go on to re-signing guys 5. resign Walton, Turiaf (RFA), and Mihm 6. sign Charlie Bell via use of MLE starting line-up PG Charlie Bell SG Kobe SF Luke PF Gasol C JO that would help the Lakers win right now, not trading Odom and Bynum to get KG.

also Kobe was arrogant back then and he still is.
But he is understanding some things now but it he is understanding it slowly.
But I don't blame him for calling out management because they have absolutely done nothing to help Kobe as well as management lied to their 2 best players since Magic and Kareem in Kobe and Shaq.
Let's not forget even though Kobe dislikes Shaq, he regrets and wishes he could amend with Shaq again.
atleast now Kobe and Shaq acknowledge and respect each other.
Kobe, Shaq, Phil, Mitch, and West should have all the blame in the world.
But it was mainly Jerry Buss's fault that the Lakers are in this position right now.
he spilt and tore that organization apart and now everyone in LAL is suffering for it.

I hope the latest articles are true that Kobe originally said he wanted out, backed off his demand, and late afternoon he reaffirmed his trade demand. I also hope that its true he wants to go to NY. Man that would be sweet.

Also, I guess the banned Lakers GM doesn't look all that stupid now for wanting to trade Kobe. His benching of his three best players was hilarious though.

According to Ric Bucher of ESPN, Kobe's list is Chicago, New York, and Phoenix. And Bucher ruled out the Suns since the Lakers want to move Kobe out East. He also thinks that if the Lakers are going to trade him, then a trade is going to happen before or on draft night.
Here's my Kobe trade:
Knicks trade:
Steve Francis Jamal Crawford Channing Frye David Lee Mardy Collins 23rd pick in this year's draft
Lakers trade:
Kobe Bryant Vladimir Radmanovic
That package is MUCH better than the package of Aldridge, Gordon, and Zach Randolph that was traded for Kobe in our league. ;D

I don't think the Lakers want Francis. I still think he'll go to the Bulls and Ben Gordon will be involved atleast.

I propose that Boston trades for him.
Ratliff Jefferson Sczeribiak Green Telfair #5
for
Bryant Kwame #19
Boston: Perkins/ Smith or Splitter Brown/ Smith or Gomes or Powe Peirce/ Allen Bryant/ West Steve Blake with the MLE/ Rondo
If Rondo develops as planned, that's a pretty decent team, that will have some cap releif after Browns expiring contract runs out. That's a top 5 team in the east easily.
Los Angeles: Bynum/ Ratliff Jefferson/ Turiaf Odom/ Walton Green/ Evans Conley/ Telfair
That team is just loaded with freakishly good potential, and Odom would thrive in that environment, like he did with Miami. They will also have a good shot at Rose/ Mayo/ Budinger if Green doesn't work out.

But, what kind of package would the Bulls have to offer? Wouldn't they have to offer either Wallace or Hinrich (I'm not sure when his extension officially kicks in) in any deal since they are the only two players with large enough salaries? Then, you have to add either Ben Gordorn or Luol Deng along with the 9th pick in the draft.
Chicago trades:
Ben Wallace OR Kirk Hinrich Ben Gordon OR Luol Deng 9th pick in the draft
Lakers trade:
Kobe Bryant
If the Lakers take on Francis for the next 2 years, they can get rid of Radmanovic's contract and be in a position to sign a big-time free agent in the summer of 2009. If they take on Wallace, they have to wait another year, plus they will most likely still have Radmanovic making $6.8 million through 2011.

I propose that Boston trades for him. Ratliff Jefferson Sczeribiak Green Telfair #5 for Bryant Kwame #19 I think the Lakers would definitely do that deal, but I don't think that Kobe will waive his no-trade clause to play alongside Paul Pierce. I just don't see why Kobe would see that team as much of an upgrade, if any, over the current Lakers with Bynum and Odom. Talent wise, it seems fair, but Kobe's no trade clause makes a deal very hard to work out.

^^^ Exactly. I think that Boston team is better then the current Laker team though. Plus they have a lot more depth.

He will want to go to a contender though, that's one of the main reasons he wanted to leave LA. Only Chicago can promise that.

It's not that I don't want Kobe in Boston, although to be honest it would only appeal to me if it meant it encouraged Garnett to move here too, I just don't think he will come.

He will want to go to a contender though, that's one of the main reasons he wanted to leave LA. Only Chicago can promise that. are you kidding me, CHI can't promise nothing espicially a low post prescense. there is a reason why the Bulls got destroyed by DET, it's because they have no one under the paint like a duncan or randolph to score from, and Deng is a perimeter player. if I were LAL this is what I would trade for Lakers send Kobe Bryant to POR for Randolph, Roy, and Prizz (to make salary work out) if Kobe is too be moved, I got 4 trades to fix the Lakers 1. LAL send Kobe to POR for Randolph, Roy, and Joel Prizzabela just like mentioned above 2. LAL send Lamar Odom, Vlad, and both 2nd rd. to NJ for Jason Kidd 3. LAL send Luke Walton via S&T and 1st rd. of this year to SAC for Ron Artest 4. LAL send Kwame and Bynum to MEM for Pau Gasol new starting 5 PG Jason Kidd SG Brandon Roy SF Ron Artest PF Zack Randolph C Pau Gasol I like that line-up a lot and maybe LAL signs C-Webb via MLE.

I dont think that any of the opposing teams would accept those offers

LAL send Kwame and Bynum to MEM for Pau Gasol I dont think that any of the opposing teams would accept those offers you probably got a point with the Walton for Artest. BUT If Carter leaves NJ, then Kidd would want out too, and Gasol wants out of MEM, and MEM wants young players so Bynum would fit their need. as for NJ, they don't want to necessarily rebuild just get some good value for Kidd, with Odom and Vlad they should get a decent value. and with the 2nd rd. of CHA and LAL they could make selection to strengthen their depth chart on their team.
