As much as it pains me to give another stud to my rival.... I can only do my job as a player agent.
Year 1: $14,000,000 Year 2: $15,000,000 Year 3: $15,000,000 Year 4: $15,000,000

How did he sign if the Pistons didn't have a GM?

Yeah if he has no GM, what's the deal. Should I sign with the next best offer?

I dont think a player would sign with a GM less team. Perhaps open the bidding up to a 1 day shot to get a bid in for him

pretty sure the GM offered it before he left Well obviously he offered before he left, but he also left before Jamison signed. I think thats what questioning of the signing was about

yea i don't really like a team getting a top notch free agent without a GM. Especially the pistons. I thought we were trying to balance this league out a little bit?

Well if the pistons have the money then its fair game. We're trying to keep teams from going over the cap to resign/sign players, so in that sense were trying to keep things balanced. In this case if the GM that made the bid quit the league before a decision was made then he should probably go somewhere else. We'll see what Bean town has to say about it

Personally I think Detroit should get him. We are making a big deal out of this because Jamison just adds to Detroit's power but he made the best offer and we all know that a GM change would not cause a player like Jamison to not sign, especially sign with a team like Detroit that has a fantastic chance to win the title.
Jamison should be a Piston.
