Sacramento Kings Receive PG - Jameer Nelson - $1,272,120 C - Tony Battie - $5,746,000 PF - Pat Garrity - $3,525,000 PG - Carlos Arroyo - $4,000,000 PF - Bo Outlaw - $1,178,348 07 1st Round Pick
Total Salary: $15,721,468 Projected Salary Total (SAC): $63,117,406
Orlando Magic Receive Mike Bibby $12,500,000 Francisco Garcia $1,092,600 Vitaly Potapenko $3,674,584 Quincy Douby $1,240,920
Total Salary: $18,508,104 Projected Salary Total (SAC): $57,468,974
I accept this deal, it's tough to deal the pick, especially in this draft, but I like my teams chances now with Mike Bibby added to the mix. Bibby and Dwight Howard are going to be one lethal force, and I get rid of some bad contracts, and bring in some young guys.

I got two young PG's and a most importantly, one more 07 first rounder...

Sacramento. You've already been warned about being too presumptuous once when you joined. Changing your Salary thread to incorporate both your trade here and your trade with Atlanta, before either has been accepted, is yet another step in the wrong direction during your probationary period as a new GM.
I think the best way to look at this deal is to disregard the filler: Orlando is swapping a young and talented Jameer Nelson for a talented player on the downside of his career in Mike Bibby. A straight swap might've been fair, but for Orlando to include their 1st Round Pick is too much, especially when you look at the contracts Orlando will be taking on board.
Boston rejects.

Come on. Why is this trade rejected? Look at the contracts I get in return- he's unloading a lot of unwanted salary...

I have to say this trade looks pretty fair in terms of the direction that the teams are heading in. Sac is rebuilding through youth and draft, while Orlando wants to win now.

And I agree, Orlando may, MAY, win now and have no hope to do so in the future, Sacramento gets powerful rebuilding and nothing to work with. I too reject, the pick is too much and the filler use is silly, if not compulsive

Yea im going to have to reject just b/c i think bibby for nelson is pretty fair itself. I dont think an 07 1st rounder is needed. Apparently people in this league dont really value draft picks
Edit- I realize Bibby & Nelso b/c of salary differences cant be trade straight up so the rest of thiose players are needed for salary fillers, but I dont think an 07 1st rounder is needed. If that pick wasnt in there I would have gladly accepted

Bibby is only signed for 3 more years, and Francis contract ends after the same season, that would free up a lot of cap space for me, because I can win with these guys until those end, and look to the future. Battie is signed for 4, and it's hard to find someone who would take that salary for a garbage guy. Not to mention I hate Garrity and Outlaw, and I got rid of both of them. I don't need Arroyo because I already have Dooling, and, if all goes according to my plan, my pick is going to be at the low end of the draft.

Really. If two GM's agree to a deal you should let it go through unless it's completely one-sided. Just because you wouldn't do a deal doesn't mean it's not fair.
Sacramento and Orlando both want this deal to go through and we both think we are getting a good deal. Therefore, you shouldn't reject it.

I want to win now, not wait for someone in the draft to develop.

I understand you are aiming for realism, but is it at the expense of allowing us to have some fun? Come on guys let us do trades we agree on!
