CHI trades:
67 PF Joe Smith $6,807,000 (final year) 61 SF Viktor Krhyapa $1,172,400 (1 more year) CHI 2007 1st round draft pick --------------------------------------- Total Salary: $7,979,400 Projected Team Salary: $65,821,121
NY trades:
72 PF Paul Milsap $625,000 (1 more year/team option for year after) 70 PF P.J. Brown $8,000,000 (final year) ---------------------------------------- Total Salary: $8,625,000 Projected Team Salary: $74,555,534
The New York Knicks accept this trade. By swapping P.J. Brown for Joe Smith, the Bulls get a little better depth heading into the playoffs. I could care less about Brown and Smith since both are expiring contracts, and I have no plans on resigning either one at the end of the year. So basically, its Krhyapa and a first round pick in this deep draft for Milsap and a temporary upgrade (Brown over Smith) in the frontcourt.

Exactly what he said. I get a veteran that could help me in the playoffs (but moreso with his expiring) and the main reason I am doing this is because I think Millsap has star potential in his game, and losing Vik and a first is a fair price.
Accepted.

I think Chicago's getting the better deal, but not by enough to reject it and you guys are both good GMs.
I accept.

Agree with Boston, Chicago is doing well here landing Millsap, but I accept, even a late first will have value in this draft, and Viktor is still young and might yet develop into something.

Also, New York and Miami both have their correct salary threads I'm going to start declining to vote on trades involving teams that don't. J
