Last one for the night
A man falls overboard and gets washed ashore on an island with nothing but sand. The island is 50 miles from the nearest land. He can't swim, the water's 100 feet deep, and the island has nothing to make a floatation device with. With no help from people, animals, fish, or machines he finds a way off the island.
How does he do it?

A farmer was going to town with a fox, a goose and a sack of corn. When he came to a stream, he had to cross in a tiny boat, and could only take across one thing at a time. However, if he left the fox alone with the goose, the fox would eat the goose, and if he left the goose alone with the corn, the goose would eat the corn. How does he get them all safely over the stream?

He takes the goose across, then goes back, and takes the wolf across, and on the way back he takes the goose. Then he takes the corn to the same side as the wolf, and then finishes it by taking the goose across again.
