This trade will take the Timberwolves about $500,000 above the cap.
I know it's close but I can't allow it The salary similarity is so close to 125% that I'm going to allow this one.

Ok Celtics, i will reformulate the trade, ok? No, it's ok. Keep it the same. It's so amazingly close to the edge of the rules that I might as well let it pass. As for the trade, I accept.

I still decline. Minnesota is giving up way too much for an aging Shaq in my opinion. Roy is a stud, as is fatty. And Nocioni is no scrub himself.

I accept.
Shaq is older, but in the game he will still be high 80's. Come on now its Shaq.
Eddie Jones will be a starter for me and he is still a low to mid 70s in next game.
-------
I hated giving up Roy, but he's doing nothing for me on the bench. Nocioni is ok, but he has an expiring contract. Might as well trade him now. Curry hasnt done what I had expected. Shaq will get me alot more. Madsen is just junk.
Shaq=Curry/Madsen Jones=Roy Nocioni is Expiring

Madsen doesn't add any value. Jones= Roy is just laughable. Roy is already twice the player Jones is, and is half his age. Then you just give up Nocioni for a 2nd round pick on top of that? Just doesn't make sense at all.

I actually think this deal is pretty fair, RI too have trouble finding the proper "fairness" subdivisions, but I still dont see anywhere where this deal is overwhelmingly one-sided

A package of Curry, Roy, and Nocioni is enough to get Kobe (IMO), the best player in the league, who still has several years of his prime ahead of him.

I know why MIN traded Noicioni, smart move by him, I won' tell what it is, because you guys probably know it by now.
but trading Brandon Roy, I mean come on, Roy is R.O.Y
the guy is very good, heck we wanted to give up Lamar Odom just to get CHI's Number 2 pick in 06 draft, just to get a good Guard that can run the triangle.
and with Oden/Durant he should put up monster numbers next season.

I dont like this trade at all. I feel that it puts Minnesota in the opposite direction that they want to go. Yea, Nocioni has an expiring contract but it is restricted so he can still resign him and Im not even sure that Roy for Shaq straight up is a good deal because of the extra salary

In this league there is no difference between restricted & unrestricted free agents. This league actually gives other teams a chance sign free agents, unlike some other leagues

We forgot to check. Minnesota only has 12 players on their roster. This would take them to 10.
Either reformulate or this deal cannot go through.

OK I believe this trade is done then, Shaq moves to Minneapolis on the trade deadline! Scoop!
Adminstrating this trade was like running a marathon. In future there should be some rule against me having to sign two free agents and release two other players before I can actually focus on switching the players in this trade!!
Update your salary and depth charts.

Eddie Jones is injured for another three days in-game, so we'll have to wait until then before this trade can officially go through.
