Jazz Trade:
79 - Mehmet Okur - $8,250,000 74 - Mike Miller - $7,500,000
Total: $15,750,000
--------------------------------------------------------
Pacers Trade:
87 - Jermaine O'Neal - $18,084,000 59 - Rawle Marshall - $664,209
Total: $18,748,209
--------------------------------------------------------
The Pacers get alot younger by adding the much younger All Star big man in Okur to replace O'Neal. They get Mike Miller who will step in & be there starting SG, a position they were very weak at.
Okur was solid for Utah, but the Jazz were really lacking both an offensive & defensive presence inside & they fill both those needs by adding O'Neal. Marshall was basically just a fill in to keep Indiana at the 15 player limit.
This trade works under the 125% rule & as GM of Utah I accept.

This deal seems fair now, however I do believe live consistantly under-rates Okur, who is proving him self with each year to be a ominant force, regardless this is a fair deal and I accept

I understand AK-47 sucking on offense, strictly because he is a defensive player, but Okur dissapeared in the playoffs. he was supposed to be that 3rd guy on offense, and because of his lack of offense the Jazz got creamated by the Spurs. his defense was good, but if you can't hit any shot not even your greatest defense on earth can save your team from losing.

Miller has a slight injury at the moment, so this deal must wait til he heals before it can go through.
