2009/2010: $500,000 2010/2011: $1,000,000
Total: $1,500,000
We offer Channing a chance to play for the defending champs and we also offer Channing the backup C position. He will learn a lot from playing with TD.

The Atlanta Hawks organization offers Frye a 5 year contract using a part of the MLE:
year1: $4,000,000 year2: $4,500,000 year3: $5,000,000 (PO) year4: $5,500,000 (PO) year5: $6,000,000 (PO)
total: $22,500,000
he would fight with Camby for a starting spot at C. Most notably he could join a top team in the East to win a title. At least next year, with Camby a FA he should start at C for a long time to come!!!
total salary : $84,352,306 total next year: $65,259,147
priority: 1)R.Wallace 2)Frye 3)Wilcox

[red]Atlanta's offer is now the max offer for Channing Frye. Other GMs may offer up to $750,000 less per year and still progress to the bidding war stage, but the length of their offer should be at least 4 years (and if it is, perhaps exceeding the per year amount offered by Atlanta by around $500,000 to stay competitive).
San Antonio's offer is too small.[/red]

The Chicago Bulls would like to offer Channing Frye a contract as follows using our MLE. (pending the resigning of Chris Paul and the approval of the Richard Jefferson aquisition)
year1: $4,000,000 year2: $4,000,000 year3: $5,000,000 (PO) year4: $5,000,000 year5: $6,000,000 (TO)
Channing would become a starter here, and would thrive playing with good playmakers like Chris Paul, Andre Igoudala, Richard Jefferson, Rudy Fernandez and George Hill in the backcourt.

I just looked everywhere and find no rule stating that on this site. If someone could show me I'd understand, but nothing states that as far as I know.

[red]The thing is, there's no point using your MLE if you're under the cap.
If other signings take you over the cap, then your MLE will kick in.[/red]

Thats what I said though. Is after my trade and the resigning of CP3 I'd be over the cap and I could therefor use my MLE.

Thats what I said though. Is after my trade and the resigning of CP3 I'd be over the cap and I could therefor use my MLE. only teams who are over the cap at the BEGINNING of the season have the MLE....its a bonus for teams to sign a player for 5+ millions. but you cant be under the cap at the beginning, sign a superstar and the suddenly have the MLE so its either MLE or cap space but not both...

Yeah there's no rule in this league stating that. So I am in first place for Frye right now then?

Well then, we wouldn't have these Rewards points if we wanted to be realistic like the real NBA.

[red]We'll discuss the MLE technicalities in the MLE thread I've just made.
Atlanta and Chicago are both on equal footing to net Frye so far.[/red]

the Mavs offer same as Hawks but add 10 RPS pending Odom, CP3, Bogut, or Bynum not signing with the Mavs. its only CHI and me left??? lol depending on 4 other signings? well i match the 10 pts and offer 11 if the mavs should fail all 4...bit its kinda weird i mean u cant bid on everybody and say depending on player 1, player 2, player 3, player 4,...lol the maximum should be 3? otherwise its gettin real confused?

I am probably not going to get any of them so I have to atleast offer every damm player a contract to make sure I get a chance to get em. Also it doesn't help that the PA are half-****ing all the contracts with other players while some of the guys you may want is gone because the PA is still deciding what to do with the guys they have at hand (EX. I gave CP3 a offer but I want Arenas if I can't get CP3, but since I didn't offer for Arenas he is already signed with another team and they PA is still deciding on CP3.) BTW anyone can offer any contract at any time, this is OSFA anything goes as long as it's within the rules. So this is the only way to make sure I got a shot to get a FA by offering contracts to everybody. so don't blame it on me if the system itself is flawed.
