The Indiana Pacers are proud to offer Gilbert a 5 year worth $71,505,815 with player options in the 3rd and 4th years.
09/10::$12,000,000 10/11::$13,210,000 11/12::$14,553,100 12/13::$15,043,941 13/14::$16,698,774
Overall team salary;
09/10::$29,690,640 10/11::$18,203,040 11/12::$10,860,217 12/13::$6,444,857*
We feel that all our team is missing is a starting PG and we would love for it to be Gilbert Arenas. If he chooses to sign with us he would be a main part of our core along with Carlos Boozer and potentially Hedo Turkoglu.
(* = this is my total salary without included Stromile Swift who is all but on accept from being traded away)

The Washington Wizards would like to extend an offer for Gilbert Arenas to stay with his current team. We do have his Bird rights and are definitely offering a 6th contract year with those.
Year 1 $13,000,000 Year 2 $14,000,000 Year 3 $15,000,000 Year 4 $15,000,000 Year 5 $16,000,000 Year 6 $17,000,000
Total 6 years at $90,000,000
If his role needs to be explains, please let me know.
Wizards total salary:
2010 $24,598,600 2011 $12,480,450 2012 $5,370,500 2013 $3,500,000

If somehow reward points counter $20 million more in salary from the resigning team with Bird rights, we would be willing to include reward points as well.

[red]I'd like to downgrade the amount the Wizards are offering to the level of Indiana's offer. But the Wiz can add an extra year using their Bird Rights if they wish.
So far it's just the Pacers and Wizards offering up for Arenas. This will go to a reward points battle and no further offers will be accepted after Monday.[/red]

I would like to change my offer to the maximum, including a 6th season, that we have capped the bidding at. I also have 139 reward points that I would be willing to use to retain Arenas. He has been a Wizard for a long time and we will do anything within our power to keep him there.

Since we believe we have a better opportunity elsewhere we are going to withdraw our offer.

I hate this reward point system @.@ QFT. It makes the Free Agency period so unbelievably unrealistic. I'm very much not a fan of it.

True that. I have so much cap space and no one to sign.

Year 1 $13,000,000 Year 2 $14,000,000 Year 3 $15,000,000 Year 4 $15,000,000 Year 5 $16,000,000 Year 6 $17,000,000
Total 6 years at $90,000,000
edit: Wizards re-sign Arenas using 0 RPs since noone else competed. This thread has consequently led to a change in next year's OSFA: re-signing teams re-signing bonuses will only be the same as their player's rating (in this case 85 RPs since Arenas is rated an 85). And if a team manages to re-sign a player without spending any RPs, they're still deducted that player's rating in RPs even if it takes them below zero RPs!
