Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Just days after the [green]Milwaukee Bucks[/green] sent starting point guard Maurice Williams to the Mavericks, the team has shipped out yet another guard. League sources are reporting that the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to terms with the [red]Phoenix Suns in[/red] a deal that sends guards Randy Foye and Daniel Gibson, along with forward Jason Maxiell, to the Phoenix Suns for forwards Al Thornton, James Johnson, and Vladmir Radmonivic. The Bucks will also receive the 2011 first rounder of the Suns.
These recent trades by Milwaukee are aimed at the future. A previously crowded Bucks backcourt now has players in clearly defined roles, with rookies Jonny Flynn and Stephen Curry set to be the starters. Although the two will be a very undersized backcourt, the team's frontcourt is stacked with size. The Bucks are expected to start 7 footers Yi Jianlin and Chris Kaman alongside 6'11 big man Andris Biedrins. The lineup is sure to create many matchup problems.
In the trades, the Bucks have also solidified an extremely talented bench. Young guns Al Thornton and Carl Landry highlight the reserves, with Wake Forest rookie James Johnson and developing big man Marreese Speights assuring the rotation.

Nets add McGee, height
The rebuilding [blue]New Jersey Nets[/blue] have traded highflying forward Wilson Chandler to the [red]Los Angeles Clippers[/red] for developing center JaVale McGee. The trade is aimed at helping the undersized Nets bench while allowing the Clippers to play Chandler in a more prominent role than he ever would in New Jersey.
When asked about the acquisition of McGee, Nets GM Josh Barber had the following remarks, "I hate to see Chandler go, but the fact is he wasn't going to develop here in New Jersey and our financial situation for next season wouldn't allow us to resign him anyway. I'm very excited about JaVale coming to town though. He is an extremely athletic big man who will really help us on defense and perhaps develop into a starting role here over the next few years. Besides, any person with four capital letters in his name can't be that bad, right?"
