EDIT: NEW CONTRACT IS OUTLINED LATER ON IN THREAD!
Free agent guard Ben Gordon (80) has agreed to terms on a 5 year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ben is very grateful to be signing this $65.5 million contract and is looking forward to playing with Lebron James and Richard Jefferson. He enjoyed his stay in Chicago but is disappointed that they were unwilling to make the adjustments necessary to retain him.
08/09: $10,500,000 09/10: $12,000,000 10/11: $13,000,000 11/12: $14,500,000 (player option) 12/13: $15,500,000 (player option)

HOLD UP, ILLEGAL DEAL.
$54,749,056
that's his cap before he signed Gordon, and if it's 10.5 mil, that puts him OVER the salary cap.

We've already adjusted this contract once before, so I'm sure we won't have a problem rearranging the numbers to make it work. TO THE BARGAINING TABLE!

We have agree to terms on a new (hopefully legal) contract.
08/09: $10,000,000 09/10: $11,500,000 10/11: $13,000,000 11/12: $14,500,000 12/13: $16,500,000
Once again, we are ecstatic to join the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise.

pretty sure ben gordon holds the records for the most times switching teams in D5 I'm sure he does it every league. I can't count how many times Minny here has had him in other leagues before trading him away because he only put up like 2 PPG. And then trading back for him.

Yeah... Gordon isnt a solid player when he plays for my team... I had him like 2-3 times in other leagues....
The "funny" thing here is that Chicago traded Garnett, the best defensive player of the league and the best player from his roster, to have cap space to re-sign Gordon and Okafor....and it seems that he won't get neither... damn
