sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2866994According to ESPN it's already been won and will be announced on Tuesday. I imagine it's going to be an awkward press conference: "So... Dirk... you're not the most talented player in the league. You couldn't make it past the first round of the playoffs, and your teammates helped you win this award. Your thoughts?"

Nash's teammates helped him more than the mavs helped dirk...most of Nash's stats were assists and most of dirk's stats were points, usually turn around jumpers, and rebounds. i don't see your argument there

last thing: when he had a stretch of bad games and the mavs did such a horrible job against the warriors, we saw just how valuable he was. i think its stupid, but true, that we don't know how valuable a nash or a dirk is until the miss games or have bad ones.
