Southeast Division
Joe Johnson and the Hawks will be facing tough competition playing in the deepest division in D5.

Looking through the Hawks starting lineup, you'd think you were looking at an allstar ballot. No surprise either because the Hawks are loaded with young all star talent at each position. Signing Calderon was final piece of the puzzle. Look for the Hawks to dominate D5 in the near future.

The Hawks keep getting hotter and hotter[/center]

Orlando Magic |

Superman has arrived and so have the Magic. This team is a PF away from seriously contending but don't underestimate them. PP - Hedo and Foye should give Superman tons of space to operate with down low.

The new Superman makes them as hot as the new Lois Lane

Charlotte Bobcats |
14W - 68L
(15th in East)

If there's any guarantees in this league, it's that the Bobcats will finish with more than 14 wins. It's been a total 180 for the Cats this off-season. What was expected to be a young team this year is instead a veteran filled team. Charlotte will be competitive this season but their frontcourt is injury prone. If they can stay healthy, Charlotte will contend for a playoff position.

Still worth a look but really they are past their prime.

Miami Heat |
44W - 38L
(12th in East)

Miami lucked out with the whole Brandon Roy fiasco. They'll be needing of that luck this season if they wish to make the playoffs.
There is Heat in Miami once again but just like the PCDs, there is only one reason they are hot.

Washington Wizards |
46W - 36L
(3rd in East)

It's not that they've gotten worse, it's just that everyone in their division has gotten better. Arenas staying healthy is the key for this team, Shaq will not be able to carry this team by himself. Washington is in serious need of a makeover on the wings, Cook and Jones just aren't going to get it done. There's always next season?!?!

Going to be a long season in D.C. everyone. At least you have Obama.
