Is averaging 10.7PPG, 6.70RPG, and 1.5 BPG. That might not seem like a lot but it is increase over what he was getting in his rookie year and also I believe his stats would be better if he wasn't on a team loaded with big men. ( Brad Miller, Mikki Moore, Jason Thompson, Shelden Williams) Could be from a 75 to 78.

I'm going to bring this up again because I've just seen that in Player Rating Changes - Work in Progress Brook Lopez is going from a 69 to a 77 and Brook is only getting 2.2ppg and 1.7rpg more then Hawes while playing more time. I'm not saying Hawes should be a 77+ but he should be at least a 75

Sacramento are bottom of the West at the moment, Hawes is averaging 2 pts and 2 rebounds less than Lopez on only 3 minutes less time per game. And stats aren't the only thing which decides these things. Brook Lopez has had some very impressive moments this year (31pts vs OKC, 17reb vs Philly etc.). Spencer has a year on Lopez and has never scored more than 19pts or grabbed more than 12 rebounds. I think Lopez has shown that he can be a dominant force in a game, whereas Hawes has not.
For now, I think 70 is ok.

I think a compromise between the two is fitting for Hawes. While I don't see 75+ as a good rating, I also don't see 70 as a fitting rating.
Personally, I feel Hawes should increase to a 72-73.

Yeah but Sac has more players at the PF/C position then NJ so Hawes wont get consistent time until they get rid of Brad Miller. Also I don't think having two spurts against mediocre teams should warrant a change from 69 to 77. Also I just noticed Marc Gasol is going up to a 74 while he only gets .9ppg and .7rpg more then Hawes while getting more time. (I know it's only 3.2 minutes more but if you gave that time to Hawes I'm sure he could score one more basket and grab one more rebound)

I agree with Hawes being somewhere around 72-74.

After seeing Chris Anderson get a ratings increase to a 75 I definitely have to bring this up again. Anderson is a good player but even after 7 years in the league he has amounted to nothing more then a high energy bench player. Hawes may never be the shot blocker Anderson is but he is already a better offensive player and considering Hawes is only 21 he still has the potential to improve his rebounding were Anderson, at 31, has most likely hit his peak. I honestly see no reason why Hawes shouldn't be one to two points higher then Anderson.

Hawes should be a around 74-75. He's shooting reasonably from beyond the arc, and is one of the better passing big men in the league.

I've got no problem with Hawes at a 75. There is no way to compare him and Andersen though. They are completely different players.
Also, the rating Andersen got is pretty much his ceiling. I still think his defensive rebounding should come up (it's at 82 right now) but generally, I can't imagine him being much more than a 75 ever.
Hawes on the other hand, is a very very talented young big man. I can see him in the 80's if he keeps developing.
So yes, 75ish for Hawes is pretty appropriate.
