HOU trades:
Anthony Johnson (70) $2,860,000 Bob Sura (69) $3,840,000 Lorenzen Wright (64) $3,240,000 HOU 2009 2nd round pick
Total Salary: $9,940,000
NY trades:
Tim Thomas (72) $5,632,200 - $6,049,400 - $6,466,400 Alexandar Pavlovic (69) $3,500,000 - $3,750,000 - $3,825,000 - $3,825,000 Kris Humphries (60) $1,250,000 CLE 2008 1st round pick
Total Salary: $10,382,200
The New York Knicks accept. This trade opens up nearly $10 million in cap space for me this offseason. I am now able to resign Maggette, Lou Williams, sign my other 3 first round picks, and still have about $20 million left to make a max contract offer. Cleveland's pick should be a late-lotto pick.

Hmmmm, I'd like to hear why Houston is doing this. Thomas, and Pavlovic really suck, and aren't worth giving that capspace up for. But I guess the Cleveland pick is a lottery pick. I'd like to hear from Houston first.

As gm of Houston I accept
Yes i am gaining cap room but since i didnt think the 2nd trade with charlotte was a go i needed to add another lottery pick. My cap space will continue to rise and wont give me a good player to sign and ill have my MLE to sign someone decent. SO i figured get two players who do see the floor for their teams in the NBA and they can come of the bench for me their ratings wont drop or increase except by a point or two.

Just a headsup, we don't have MLE in this league

Yeah we don't have an MLE. And, I found it difficult to understand exactly what you were saying, you're not gaining cap room, you're losing it.
Good thing all trades are pending till a week after a GM registers!

o ok well im over the cap and those two guarantee me bench players which is why id like to have them. sometimes with trades you go to the limit then in FA people just out spend you so this way ill have some people to come off the bench who can contribute. what im saying is. Those three all come off the books. In FA in all the leagues ive been in even the decent players get way too much money. ex. one league im in mo williams got 15 mil. So to guarantee bench players at a price that isnt ridiculas 9 mil is ok since the other guy is expiring. Then i get a rookie who i couldnt get with three expired contracts.

Declined. Houston gets hit pretty hard. They give up cap space for bums.

Cleveland's late lottery pick is not enough to balance out this deal for me. Sorry fellas, I reject also.

What if I add the Spurs 2008 pick, and Houston can also keep his second round pick?

What if I add the Spurs 2008 pick, and Houston can also keep his second round pick? For the sake of keeping threads uncluttered, Im going to reject this trade. However if NY made the above mentioned changes I would accept that trade. I cannot speak for the rest of the CMs but that would be enough for me to accept.
