San Antonio Trades:
C -74- Samuel Dalembert--$10,680,000-$10,520,000-$11,360,000-$12,200,000 SF- 78 -Shane Battier-$5,883,600-$6,373,900-$6,864,200-$7,354,500 PG- 70- Jose Calderon-$2,471,604
Final Salary: $19,035,204 Final Salary: $67,651,723
I accept, I believe this works under the 125% rule.
I get an all-star SF to help out TD, Charlotte gets 2 young studs and one of the best defenders instead of losing Pierce for nothing at the end of the season

I dunno about this one. I don't think Charlotte should water-down the talent in his team any more than it already has been without receiving some proper building blocks in return.
Paul Pierce is worth a hell of a lot to some teams, and in this deal he is getting some decent players in return (I don't understand the need for the addition of Harrington & Williams though). But, given where Charlotte's at as a franchise after successively poor GMs and an absent Off Season, surely they should be looking to acquire draft picks and youth instead of some aging role-players with minimal upside and little potential trade value.

Othella is there for salary reasons and is an expiring. Calderon is an up and comer and should be higher then a 70 hes also an upgrade over Williams. He'll be the starting PG in Charlotte for years to come. Dalembert is one of the best defensive centers in the league IMO. IMO hes getting a fair deal for an expiring Pierce

Dalembert and Calderon definitely have upside, Battier will be a good mentor for the youngsters

I disagree, both those players are 26/27 years old and, although it'd be nice in a roleplaying sense that Battier could be a mentor figure, realistically that can't be a reason for us to accept this deal, especially when dealing with a team in the position of the Bobcats who are dangerously close to being unmanageable.
I reject.

Look at his stats coming off the bench for the Raps sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3989IN only his third season, I see plenty of upside for Calderon. Last season he was 6th in assist per 48 minutes behind the likes of Nash, Deron, Kidd, Paul and Ford

Calderon has upside no doubt, but I still don't think it's enough to make a trade for Paul Peirce. Maybe in real life I'd let this go, but considering Charlotte's shaky track record, it's a no go. (no offense to the current GM as I don't know him yet)

Would you guys accept if we took out Williams and replaced him with Derek Anderson?

The minor pieces Charlotte's giving up are quite inconsequential for my vote, it's what Charlotte's receiving in return that I don't like and I wouldn't accept even if it was only Paul Pierce on his own. The Bobcats need to recognize where their franchise is situated in the rebuilding-maturing-contending process and make trades with that in mind. Not languish in the lottery for the rest of eternity.
edit: We wouldn't be so strict with this if it weren't for the fact that Charlotte's on their 'last legs' so to speak. Unfortunately that means we (the staff) have to become babysitters to ensure the success of both the Bobcats and the league in general.

Fair enough, IMHO this is a good trade for a guy that is gonna bolt at the end of the season.
