Washington reject.
For a team trying to rebuild this a bad move. We lose 2 young players and get back a 30+ yr old SG. His salary severely damages our cap space for the next 4-5 years, and getting a SA pick is barely compensation considering it will be in the 25-30 range.
I'll wait to when we can trade next time to shop around these players.

Well, I guess that means this one isn't going to happen. I guess if Washington are in rebuild mode, and they are 19-31, this isn't the type of move they'd make.

Its cool if Wash doesnt want to do it b/c we never really agreed to anything but i had to submit it in time b/c of the deadline. No big deal ill keep the draft pick in an extremely deep draft & ill keep the 32 yr old SG that averages 26 ppg 4 rpg & 4 apg!

Its just not the type of move i was looking for - if had better pieces around Allen and Arenas, and was competing i would have pulled the trigger. No matter how deep the draft is, you are unlikely to pick up much from 25-30

Everybody keeps saying u most likely wont get anything that late, but just look at a few past drafts. Josh Howard, Leandro Barbosa, Gerald Wallace, David Lee, Kevin Martin have all been drafted in the 25-30 spot. Hell in 2001 Tony Parker was the last pick of the draft so its not uncommon at all for late picks to turn into big time players

The odds of getting a quality/servicable player at 25-30 is much worse than at 10-15
