Needed to add a scoring option off the bench, some of my guys just aren't getting it done. Plus Fred Jones has a nice little stroke and is very athletic.

I don't really understand Charlotte's reasoning in this trade. Orlando's second rounder isn't exactly a 'goldmine' and all the Bobcats are doing is trimming a quite reasonable $3.3m contract and losing quite a solid player too. Charlotte have a immense amount of cap space this upcoming Off Season (something like $40,000,000 before re-signings and free agency) and given the destitute nature of their talent-base I don't know why they'd want to trade-down for salary purposes.
I reject.

yikes i should of said why. 1. Fred Jones Salary. i dont want it, yeah i have alot of salary but i dont need him. i really dont like him at all, and i think he's over rated 2. the player im getting back has a team option for next year, which i would not pick up. i save 3 million in cap space. This off season will be a great off season with me and im trying to let go alot of money. i have 20 something million for next year and i want more . this might sound dumb, but im dont care about this season, looking foward to next season. so the reason why i made it was 1. to dump salary, and 2 to get a draft pick. thats my reason. and i really dont like him but i undertsand your reason he is a good player but to me he's not so good

I don't mind this trade for Charlotte. I'm a Raptors fan and have first hand knowledge of the puzzle that is Fred Jones. He could be an elite player with his slashing ability, but he's content jacking up his ugly jumper.

Hmm. Im up in the air on this one. Fred Jones is a solid role player coming off the bench in NY. On the other hand Douby is a solid young talent that isnt getting any PT in SAC right now. Ratings for both shouldn't be too different come next season.
I dont like Charlotte getting rid of a 71 for a 64 because of the already thin roster that he posses.
I thought about it, and I have deiced to reject it.

Fred Jones' is only a 71 because his athleticism ratings are high
EDIT - Plus he's getting a 2nd rounder, and my team is playing like crap....

I think this deal is ok. Jones should be rated around a 64-65 IMO. I accept

I think this deal is ok. Jones should be rated around a 64-65 IMO. I accept A 64-65? How can you justify that? If he is a 64-65, Douby should be a 60. Based solely on stats (thats what our ratings are based off of, that and real life success): Jones: 6.6 PPG and shooting 45% from the field. Douby (limited playing time, which is accounted into when doing ratings): 4 PPG and shooting a woeful 34% from the field. Douby Link | Jones Link

I'm accepting this. Charlotte is saving $3.6 million next season and also freeing up another roster spot. He also gets a second round pick which does hold some value. And conversely if by some chance Douby turns it on in real life before this sim-league season comes to an end, Charlotte could opt to pick up his team option at a discounted rate compared to Fred Jones.
Orlando is getting a solid bench (I assume) player in Fred Jones. For what its worth, he has probably been New York's most consistent player at both ends of the court this season (>.<), but I don't see his rating either increasing or decreasing since he probably deserves his 71.

If this was a young Fred Jones still showing potential, I would say no. But Fred Jones is pretty bad now.
Accepted.
