I dont think its that bad of a trade. As we all know Shaq, even though he is old and fat, can still put up great numbers in a sim. Also, Barbosa brings youth to a pretty old Piston roster. Jamison is way overpaid, do Det gets rid of his awful salary.
I accept

I don't understand why Detroit wants to do this. Hasn't Shaq's decline been documented enough? You're giving up two players that still have a few great years left in them both for Shaq's massive salary and Barbosa.
I'd like to hear more from Detroit before I give my verdict.

I think this trade actually benefits Detroit
It's not like Barbosa can't do things as well as Hamilton... it gives Detroit a different kind of frontcourt to run the fast break with where as Hamilton is more of a halfcourt guy
And Shaq is Shaq. In sim leagues, he will remain good until Boston decides to screw him over (which didnt happen this season). I know his salary is bad but Sheed/Shaq seems like it would work really well instead of 2 perimeter orientated players
As for Phoenix... it complets his team more and gives him 1 inside 1 outside frontcourt just like Detroit is getting

No matter what you say Shaq is still a good simmer this year and hopefully next year if he continues. I'm in it to win it now since I think I can go all the way and Shaq would be an asset. Barbosa brings just as much to the table as Hamilton brings, if not more. My team is very old but Barbosa/Prince should play well together for years to come.

Ok then. I accept. Normally I wouldn't, but Detroit's team is so strong we don't really have to worry about the team becoming unmanagable just yet...

Dont see why Detroit would want to do this. Phoenix definitely gets the better end of this deal. I believe Rip Hamilton is considerably better than Barbosa even though their numbers might be similar. Regardless, I accept

I actually am saddened that this is accepted. And I'm in the same Division as Detroit. (who is getting killed)

However Shaq is still awfully good in a sim so to be fair it would be pretty hard to reject this trade. I also hope Detroit realizes that Shaq will most likely continue to drop every year in ratings somewhat

This one was difficult because of the Shaq-equation added into the mix, overall it's accepted, but only just.
Please update your salary and depth charts.
