The Wizards trade:
Raymond Felton (76) $5,500,000 $5,500,000 $6,000,000 $6,600,000 2013 2nd round pick (Wash)
Total outgoing: $5,500,000
The Bulls trade:
Jason Hart (68) $500,000 2011 1st round pick (Chicago)
Total outgoing $500,000
The Bulls have the needed cap space to make this trade.

I will have to reject. The Bulls have George Hill already, maybe if Felton was a center but even still Chicago's pick is headed towards a top 10 at least. With LeBron they were only a 7 seed.

Raymond Felton is much, much better than George Hill now. This is definitely true for the next few seasons. Felton may even improve quite a bit in NY. His numbers will go up for sure in the D'Antoni system. Chicago was decimated in free agency so is he not allowed to try to improve his team now, instead of waiting on draft picks that may never develop?

What is the point in improving for just this season? So he can have the 11th pick instead of the 8th? He is not getting a superstar. Just a solid player for a position he doesn't really need. Having the player from that pick won't help him this season but it will help him next season and the season after that and so on. It is too valuable in my opinion.

I guess it depends on what your view of the role of the trade comittee is.
He is definitely trying to improve his team. Raymond is rated a 76 and will likely be up for an increase in NY. Chances are the rookie draft will not net him a player that is a 78+.
So what you are saying is that you wouldn't do this trade based on what could be a few seasons from now so he shouldn't do it either.
Again, I think this boils down to a judgement call and you are saying that your thoughts of what "might" happen in the future outweigh what Chicago thinks. Not sure what I think about this...

You are doing the same thing by saying Felton will be up for an increase, that he will not get a very high rated draft pick and talking about how he might never develop. Also you have a very bias perspective since you are involved in the trade.
I am not going to continue this anymore. I will take into account what Chicago and the other TC members say but for now I reject.
Finally, when it comes down to it, I am only one vote. There are four other people who will vote and Chicago to explain himself.

I dont think this is bad at all. I would have done the trade. Might anyway, in the case that I need a PG.

Imo he could get a lot more for that pick than Raymond Felton. Hold on to the pick for now and when it turns out to be a high one, you will get a much better offer for it.
