To Charlotte 82 - Andrei Kirilenko - $17,822,187 MEM 2011 2nd round pick
To Memphis 66 - Kenny Thomas - $8,500,000 Draft rights to Crag Brackins Draft rights to Grevis Vazquez GSW 2011 1st round pick (via OKC)
Charlotte has the cap space for this deal.
I had a fair amount of interest in AK47. The trade I really wanted that got me my 1st rounder back never ended up hapenning, then the probably unrealistic trade talks that would get me Taj Gibson did not happen either. But this is a nice 3rd option, Kenny Thomas the cap filler + basically 3 late 1st rounders.

I don't really like this trade for the Bobcats his giving up two young guys plus a 1st pick for AK47 i just think thats a lot to give up on a guy like this who does not even start for his team anymore but thats my 2 cents and I don't got a vote anymore so i guess my say is nothing

Well Kirilenko certainly is not the player he once was but he has been injured and he only played 58 games, and he did start in 35 of them. He puts up decent numbers of about 12, 5 and 3 in his reduced playing time. Also Gordon Hayward won't be their guy at SF for a while so he will still have plenty of opportunity, especially since Wesley Mathews is gone so Hayward will more or less take his minutes.

I really see Gordon Hayward starting over AK 47 I think he will have time coming off the bench this year I still don't like this trade for the Bobcats maybe its just me i also think AK 47 should come down a bit from his 82 because his not the same guy

I'm really not in love with this deal either. Andre is solid but he's always hurt and I just don't see why a team like Charlotte who doesn't have a great right now team would ruin his future for a 1 year contract.
