SF/PF 88 Ron Artest $12,098,298 - $11,598,298 - $11,598,298 for SG 83 Kevin Martin $14,000,000 - $15,000,000 - $15,000,000 accepted. i give up 5 rating points but get 3 years younger and switch back Pierce to SF and start Martin at SG. Houston has way too many guards (Harden 76, Westbrook 80, Chalmers 71, Head 75,....) and can start Westbrook at PG and Harden at SG while putting in RonRon at SF, while also saving 3,5 millions next season. perfect trade for both

Houston? Why? Artest has maybe 1 or 2 sub-par years left in him.

Houston? Why? Artest has maybe 1 or 2 sub-par years left in him. u seriours? he just turned 30 and has like 6-7 years left he's got one of the best bodies in the NBA...everybody talks about his D - which is in the top 3 of the NBA...but btw RonRon is a great shooter, passer, athlete, rebounder for his pos. and would score 18+ with any other team than the Lakers

18+ points with 20+ attempts per night. Pretty much like what happened in Houston in 08/09

18+ points with 20+ attempts per night. Pretty much like what happened in Houston in 08/09 he shot 40% from downtoen in houston...not that bad...anyways a player who can give you 18+ points 6 boards 3,5 assists 2 stls and be the elite defender is awesome...and he's having a nice frontloaded contract too...well i traded Caron Butler 84 and my first for Artest...so basicly i give caron and my first for martin... but i like it cuz Pierce is a SF...and well Houston needs to start Harden and Westbrook...great young promising backcourt...and with Artest at SF they are nicely set for the season

I'll accept... Kevin Martin is not as good as everyone makes him out to be... he can't create his own shot, plays no defense, and shoots a terible percentage from the field. He shoots as much as a first scoring option but in reality would be much better suited as a third scoring option/roleplayer/spot up shooter. I'm really not sure how he got his 83 rating in this league

but if you look at it that way the trade does benefit both teams,
However, one must wonder if Houston could have gotten a better offer for Kevin Martin...

I accept. I've been trying to move Martin and his $15 million per year contract for months and I haven't gotten any offers better than this. I understand that artest is more on the downside of his career than Martin, but he is also currently rated 5 higher than Martin and actually plays SF where Martin is playing out of position to accommodate harden at SG. I also know that artest is on a long term contract, but he still saves me approximately $4 million per year.

I accept. Martin is expendable with the players HOU has.
