I think the success of my team will be based on the rookie ratings, most importantly the rating of DeMarcus Cousins. What if the pick is top 8 protected? Trading the 9th for the 13th is no big deal, afterwards every spot higher it becomes a bigger and bigger deal though.

Alright, this trade is in a weird position. It has technically been accepted but SAS declines and then BOS reconsiders. So if BOS does switch then the votes are 3-2 with NYK still to vote. So if he votes no then reject wins because Boston's side wins in a tie. Therefore it is accepted and rejected DAL and I both agree that we could use some commissioner elaboration.
