Portland Trailblazers trade 73 SF Bobby Simmons $9,000,000 71 SG Michael Finley $4,000,000 74 SG Eric Gordon $2,349,900 $2,513,900 $3,192,650 POR 2010 1st Round Pick (7)
Total Incoming - $18,476,754 Total Outgoing - $15,349,900
Sacramento Kings Trade Joe Johnson (85) - $14,976,754 Jason Maxiell (71) - $3,500,000 - $4,500,000 - $5,500,000
Total Incoming - $15,349,900 Total Outgoing - $18,476,754
I accept the deal. This trade is basically Eric Gordon and the 7th pick for Joe Johnson and Maxiell. This give me the opportunity to attract another big name in because I'll get the first crack and should be able to re-sign Johnson with the cap space I have. I'm looking to turn this team into a contender, and having someone like Joe will be able to help with that. Maxiell is a nice BIG body that can contribute off the bench.

As GM of the Sacramento Kinds, I accept.
I am looking to give this team a make-over and unfortunately Joe Johnson was not apart of those plans. He played terrible for the little bit of time he was with us and we feel a change of scenery for him will do some good. He just didnt fit next to Michael Redd. I get the things you look for in a trade for a star quality player (draft pick, young replacement, expirings). This trade can possibly be looked back on one day as the trade that made both of these teams truly great.

Hmm. I don't really get why the Kings want Eric Gordon, Michael Redd isn't really meant to play SF.
Also the chance of Portland re-signing Joe Johnson are 50/50. We operate Free Agency in a way which is fair to teams but also realistic, I don't know how enthusiastic JJ would be after being traded from a 50win team to a 30win team.
This is a tough call. I wanna see how the others reply first.

He did it before when he first signed with the Hawks, they were a 13 win team, lol.

I like it for both teams. Sacramento is getting a lot of value for Joe Johnson. Eric Gordon is a stud, and he also gets the 7th pick in the draft.
Accept

My whole outlook is that I am going to either try to move Redd for a PG/SF or let him walk because he is sure to get a large ratings decrease. I bring in Eric Gordon because through trade atm I am going for a youth movement then bring in more talented plkayers through free agency because I will have around 27 mill in cap.

If anything, it's Portland thats overpaying. Eric Gordon AND the 7th pick in the draft for a chance to sign JJ? That's way too good for Sacramento to pass on.
I accept.
