The Washington Wizards would like to offer Andre Miller a contract for 5 years. We are also offering player options for Mr Miller's future flexibility.
Year 1 $2,500,000 Year 2 $3,000,000 Year 3 $3,500,000 (PO) Year 4 $4,000,000 (PO) Year 5 $4,500,000
Total $17,500,000
We would play Andre mostly as our starting PG in the backcourt beside Gilbert Arenas.

[red]Andre would like to wait and see if he could get more money per year.
If he accepts once of your contracts, it'll be reduced by two or three years since he feels he's worth more and would prefer to play for that amount for a shorter period of time and see where the FA market can take him in two years time.[/red]

[red]Please keep any further offers within the realm of that offered by Portland. And no more than 3 years in length.
Due to the total dollar amount of both Washington and Portland's offers, they are both currently in the running for Miller. But please keep offers limited like i asked above.[/red]

[red]I'm going to decrease the amount Golden State is offering to the size of Portland's initial offer: 09/10: $5,000,000 10/11: $6,000,000 11/12: $7,000,000
Portland need not offer more, their original offer is enough.
Charlotte needs to read my previous post and make an offer which complies and matches the offer above^^ to stay in the running for Miller.[/red]
