I'm just wondering what 'lowball' trades people have seen around the league? Golden State's not going to like me for this, but the biggest lowball I can think of was when he offered me: Pau Gasol <-> Emeka Okafor & Josh Smith hehehe

I was new then. I had to test everyone out.

Minnesota offered my Ricky Davis for Luol Deng, and then tried to convince me that Davis is, and always will be better.

I'll probably see my name end up on this list a few times. I think my worst offer to another team was something like Steve Francis for Vince Carter. I didn't really want Carter (hate his game), but I wanted that HUGE expiring contract. Just going through the old offers, these were the most lopsided I could find ( To remain anonymous, the team names were removed from the original trade offers. ;D Curry Crawford Lee Blount Davis McCants ---------------------------- Stephon Marbury Quentin Richardson Marco Jaric Mike James Joel Przybilla Troy Hudson Mark Madsen Notice how it's 5 horrible contracts for Steph's expiring and Q-Rich. ------------------------------- David Lee PJ Brown for NJ 1st rounder Z. Rebraca This one's not as bad as the others, but I just value Lee a lot more than a mid-late draft pick.

So I guess Minnesota is the winner of the prestigous "Biggest Lowballer" award? And I thought my offers sucked.

Some guy offered me Lebron James for Malik Rose, a 1st round pick, AND DAVID LEE! No way he's getting Lee on top of all that. Talk about a lowball...

It's funny because Isiah would actually consider that a low ball. David Lee and Renaldo Balkman are like Jesus and Moses to that guy.

New Orleans just offered me Desmond Mason for my 8th pick. Mason's a good guy, but not for an 8th pick!
edit: although Brad Miller for the 1st pick with NYK was, of course, a lot worse of an offer hehehe

lol you think that is a low ball offer? HA, have fun with your 71 overall rated player at the 8th pick.....4 pts lower than mason.....o and hey btw you have a 69 starting as your PG, so maybe i thought it was a good idea to move roy to PG and start mason at SG, idk maybe its just me but with the 8th overall pick.....looks like you need all the help you can get

You'd have to be crazy to trade the 8th pick for him. Rudy Gay was the 8th pick last year in a weaker draft. Put that in perspective.

You know what's weird? The previous Hornets GM (RIP) was known to overrate Mason as well. We had to talk him out of giving Desmond a severely overpaid contract.
As for the lowball, Jason Richardson was traded for the number 8 overall pick in real life. J-Rich>>>>D-Mase

yeah....8th picks can be beast players....Tom Chambers, Ron harper, Andre Miller, Jamaal Crawford, Chis Wilcox, T.J Ford and Channing Frye are some past 8th picks that are now great players (specially comparing to Mason) so I think that if you think about the 8th pick in the future it can be a future all star

my point is....its not a low ball offer, a 75 proven 15 PPG guy for a 71 rookie, its not like its a total rip off, doesnt belong in this thread

HA minnesota, for someone who researches basketball a lot you failed my friend, first of all he averaged 3 pts cuz he didnt start, he was a bench player for a different GM, 2nd of all his career high is 17 PPG, but better luck next time
As for last year, you said he had 6 PPG??? it was actually 14 PPG last season, he has played 7 seasons in the NBA and has had 4 of them with 14 PPG +, i dont see how that is bad....the lowest amount of games he has ever played is 70, which is very reliable, he is only 30, which isnt bad, like 6 years left maybe, idk man still dont see the arguement where this is a lowball offer, im not saying mason is great, but a career average of 13 PPG isnt bad at all
