So with the slump in activity as of late, I decided to look through some of the old threads and pulled a few gems out to laugh over. Here's just a few I found but please add to the list!!!
From my controversial Eddy Curry to Minnesota trade thread:
(Chicago)
(lovethegame)
(New York )
(Boston)
And to think, we all thought Boston was the crazy one back then. Who would have know he would be right in hindsight?
My trade that sent Francis and Frye to Orlando for Grant Hill:
(76erskyd)
(Chicago)
You were SO right man!!!
When reasoning for a Shaq-Curry trade to go through between the Heat and Wolves:
(New York)
From a rejected Kobe for Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis trade:
(Boston)
(Chicago)
Yeah, those Bosnian news papers are just coated with articles on Kobe wanting out of LA. The Wolves trading KG is a real possibilty, if Seattle offered the Lakers Jesus Christ himself for Kobe, they would say no.
(Matt...former Wiz GM)
From a rejected Kwame Brown salary dump trade:
(Memphis)
From my controversial Eddy Curry to Minnesota trade thread:
(Chicago)
Seems pretty fair. Minnesota gets a real Centre, and New York gets some picks and contract relief.
(lovethegame)
To get one of the Top 5 Centers in the league sometimes u gotta pay to get what u want.
Edited: + im getting 2 2nd round picks for scrubs and not too many #1's are going to be that good when the game comes out.

Curry is a legitimate all-star caliber player
(Boston)
Oh Christ. I still think Curry is far too overrated in this deal but what the hell.

I dont think that Grant Hill at this point in his career is worth an over-estimated but still good player in Francis and a young ntalent in Frye.
(Chicago)
Frye is a joke New Orleans. The guy is softer then a cream puff, and his offense got progressively worse this year. New Yorks GM is being smart by making salary dumps. Francis is no longer useful at this point in his carreer (not that Hill really is either, although when he's healthy he can contribute) and losing Frye opens up more minutes for superior players in David Lee, and Renaldo Balkman. Good move for NY.

A package of Curry, Roy, and Nocioni is enough to get Kobe (IMO), the best player in the league
From a rejected Kobe for Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis trade:
(Boston)
I don't understand why the Lakers GM even picked the Lakers in the first place if he hated Kobe so much.

Jesus on the block? I gotta get in on this!
From a rejected Kwame Brown salary dump trade:
(Memphis)
I'm pretty sure that Kwame Brown, a former #1 overall pick, has the potential to be a high caliber player...you may not think so, but the NBA scouts and coaches that drafted him probably know a little more than you
