Inspired by Memphis' thread about the greatest trades in D5 history, I want to see what your best trade was value wise. Feel free to post any trade that you think turned out great for your team. I know I sure will.

I have not been here all that long but I have made a lot of trades. Problem is I had the worst roster in the history of professional basketball. I never planned on keeping AK47 but I figured I would have moved him mid-season to a team looking for that one more player. I was always shopping him though and Charlotte's deal got me 2 prospects and a pick so I took it. Simply because that trade would have never been possible with Dunleavy I say this is my best trade.

My best trade IMO so far: Baron Davis for Gerald Wallace
Though it might not turn out so well if I cant resign Crash this coming summer.

I haven't made many trades yet, but I think this could end up really well for me (if Oden could just stay healthy):

I was scanning through my trades and came across this beauty: Lakers & Celtics1st July 2007Boston receives: 70 - LaMarcus Aldridge - $4,027,320 64 - Jared Jeffries - $5,215,000 71 - Maurice Evans - $1,500,000 LA Lakers receives: 66 - Theo Ratliff - $11,666,666 71 - Tony Allen - $1,037,280 66 - Ryan Gomes - $664,209 I don't ever remember Aldridge being that underrated, but who knows? I then traded Aldridge for Brandon Roy ;D Heat & Celtics6th July 2007Boston receives: Brandon Roy - $2,681,880 Miami receives: LaMarcus Aldridge - $4,027,320 BOS 2008 2nd round pick

Wow. That was way back then. In retrospect it really is a great deal.

April 12, 2009
New Jersey Sends: Andrea Bargnani - $5,176,440 - $6,527,490
Total: $5,176,440
Miami Sends: Francisco Elson - $500,000 (contract) Herbert Hill - $500,000 (contract) Rajon Rondo - $1,646,784 - $2,623,326 Wilson Chandler - $600,000 - $700,000 Sean Singletary - $803,400 - $863,700 - $923,900 - $1,667,640
Total: $4,050,184
I managed to get Rondo right before he had his breakout in the 2009 playoffs. Wilson Chandler was also a nice pickup, who I later traded for McGee.
Feb 28, 2009
New Jersey Sends: Kobe Bryant - $21,262,500 - $23,034,375 Sam Cassell - $500,000 - $500,000 PO Doug Christie - $500,000 - $500,000 PO
Total: $22,262,500
Sacramento Sends: Kevin Durant - $5,250,000 - $5,500,000 TO- $5,500,000 TO Mikki Moore - $5,740,000 Mike James - $6,049,400 Matt Carroll - $1,000,000 Sac 2009 1st
Total: $18,039,400
When I felt like bombing my team, this is the trade I made, but it actually turned out to be really good. I think Durant is worth more than Kobe is now, and I picked Brandon Jennings with the 1st rounder, who I traded for Andrew Bynum. So basically, it was Kobe for Durant and Bynum.

Loving that second trade there, Nets. And Bargnani for Rondo alone is a nice retrospective trade. What we need to do is go through all the rejected trades and find the most ridiculous. Although Blake Bowman's Lebron <-> Brad Miller swap in D6 cannot be surpassed, in my opinion, hehe.

Lord almighty, that Cleveland-Louisville trade really was incredible.
Shaq Lebron Mo Williams Anthony Parker
for
Brad Miller Jamario Moon Derek Fisher and shit.
I've never seen anything like that trade, not before or since.

My best trade in the half season I was here. My main goal was Boozer in this trade, but they offered me JJ instead. That move I feel helped get me to the second round playoffs.

Pretty much Blake's anything in D6 I managed to nab Shaq while dumping Eddy Curry's horrific contract in a trade that could have easily been rejected. That was probably one of only 2 or 3 that were accepted compared to the 4 billion that were posted.

I have plenty of good trades that could turn out to be great trades like the Xavier Henry for MEM draft pick... I hate this trade. Worst decision i have made. Henry better be something special. All my other risky moves were based on worst case scenario and I was fine with whatever happened but I never really thought about this and it could end up being extremely bad.

Yeah. That would have been me pulling off the Brad Miller for Shaq and LeBron. That would have been my greatest trade. I dont know what my greatest trade would be, though.

Yeah. That would have been me pulling off the Brad Miller for Shaq and LeBron. That would have been my greatest trade. I dont know what my greatest trade would be, though. If we didn't have a committee and/or it was accepted, it would've been perhaps the greatest trade in any sim league that wasn't a straight up act of dumping talent to a different team ;D The expansion Louisville Stallions, suddenly endowed with championship calibre talent and success. No losses in their first season in Division Two, straight promotion and shot to the top half of Div 1 ;D
