Andray Blatche signs with Utah:
$4,550,000 $5,150,000 $5,550,000 $6,150,000 [teal]$6,550,000[/teal]
The Jazz sent 8 individual PMs, each including new offers, new reasons for Andray to sign and even pictures of his prospective jersey this season! They were one of the top bidders for Andray's services from the start, although Detroit and Utah were neck-and-neck a lot in the early bidding, because Andray's still young (24) and has a lot of future ahead of him to grow with a team like Detroit, plus the Pistons have had literally no luck at all this off season. It was the blitzkrieg of PMs which closed the deal though. If enthusiasm and determination mean anything in this league, Utah signs Andray Blatche.
These are the reasons the following teams missed out on his services: 2. DET - few players to build around, didn't send 8 PMs like Utah did.
3. PHX - less talent than Utah, didn't send 8 PMs like Utah.
SAS - Did not get back to us after the contract level was set for Andray, assumed interest disappeared afterwards. CLE - Ran out of cap space. DEN - Couldn't offer a starting spot. MEM - Couldn't compete with Utah. LAC - Couldn't offer a starting spot. IND - Not as much talent as Utah, only began offering this evening.

Well I don't think anyone else had a chance. Starting position on a team with Kobe, Tyreke and Steven Jackson. That's game over.
