The Indiana Pacers are proud to offer Baron a 5 year worth $47.5 million with player options in the 3rd and 4th years.
09/10::$9,500,000 10/11::$9,500,000 11/12::$9,500,000 12/13::$9,500,000 13/14::$9,500,000
Overall team salary;
09/10::$29,690,640 10/11::$18,203,040 11/12::$10,860,217 12/13::$6,444,857
If he chooses to sign with us he would be a main part of our core along with Carlos Boozer and potentially Shawn Marion. We would like to point out to the player agent that the status of our pending deal with Gilbert Arenas will determine if we keep this offer up and vise versa. (so if we get positive feed back from Baron we will withdraw our offer to Gilbert)

[red]Bids for Baron Davis can go higher than Indy's, but so far Baron is willing to take his deal.[/red]

We would like to inform Baron and his player agent that because of the positive feedback to our offer he is now our main target for the starting PG role as we have withdrew our offer to Gilbert Arenas.

We will resign Baron if our offers for Chris Paul, Deron Williams fall through. We would like to offer him:
Year 1: $10,000,000 Year 2: $11,000,000 Year 3: $12,000,000 Year 4: $13,000,000(TO)

We have modified our offer to be more competitive to Denvers. We would like to point out that our franchise is showing more interest in Baron even though Denver is the resigning team, which is should be evident by the fact that Baron is the only point guard we have an offer out for while Denver has multiple offers to other starting quality point guards. (Chris Paul, Daron Williams, and Raymond Felton). Also we feel that if Baron chooses to sign with us he would have a better chance of making the playoffs as he would potentially be part of our core with Carlos Boozer and Shawn Marion.

[red]I'm regressing the cap deal for Baron Davis to the size of Denver's one. Indy and Charlotte's offers will become this: Year 1: $10,000,000 Year 2: $11,000,000 Year 3: $12,000,000 Year 4: $13,000,000(TO)
Indy, Charlotte and Denver (as re-signing team) are all in the running though. This one's going to reward point bidding now.[/red]

I would like to point out that we are on the verge of resigning Carlos Boozer. Also we would like to reiterate that we feel our franchise is showing by far the most interest in Baron as he is our only priority at PG as opposed to the other franchises who have admited in their offers that they have other players prioritized over Baron. Denver currently has offers extended to Chris Paul, Daron Williams, and Raymond Felton while Orlando has an offer out to Jason Kidd. (we use 70rpts.)

I see, I don't really think it's necessary though? It's just so the new guy gets through OSFA with his team intact, although he seems to be getting into it fine. [red]Indy is currently in the lead.[/red]
