PG/SG Chauncey BILLUPS $12,000,000 - $12,000,000 C/PF Channing FRYE $4,000,000 - $4,500,000 - $5,000,000 - $5,500,000 - $6,000,000 SG/SF Caron BUTLER $9,780,970 $10,561,960 1st'11 total: $25,780,970
for
artest $13,913,043--$12,098,298--$11,598,298--$11,598,298 garnett $20,125,000--$23,143,750 total: $34,038,043
works closely with the 25% +/- $100,000 rule: $34,038,043*0,75 [-25%]=$25,528,532
i accept. Its all about D in this trade for me...a really tough one for the Atlanta Hawks to give up 3 good players and a first rounder for two great players. The Hornets will have agreat starting five after this trade. C/PF Channing FRYE 77 PF/C Zach RANDOLPH 81 SF/PF PRINCE 84 SG/SF BUTLER 84 PG/SG C. BILLUPS 86
ill move Arenas to PG and try artest at SG...

works closely with the 25% +/- $100,000 rule: $34,038,043*0,75 [-25%]=$25,528,532 idk what formula this is, but the 125% rule works as such: $25,780,970*1.25=$32,226,213 (can't exceed this amount) or $34,038,043/1.25=$27,230,434 (can't go below this amount) so this trade doesn't work under the 125% rule

lol im not a maths specialist...anyway to make it work i add Lewis and Randolph and trade them right back - so it works easily and its in the end the same deal like above: Deal1: PG/SG Chauncey BILLUPS $12,000,000 - $12,000,000 C/PF Channing FRYE $4,000,000 - $4,500,000 - $5,000,000 - $5,500,000 - $6,000,000 SG/SF Caron BUTLER $9,780,970 $10,561,960 SF/PF Rashard Lewis - $17,750,000 - $18,750,000 1st'11 total: $43,530,970
for
artest $13,913,043--$12,098,298--$11,598,298--$11,598,298 garnett $20,125,000--$23,143,750 randolph $16,000,000--$17,333,333 total: $50,038,043
Deal2: randolph $16,000,000--$17,333,333 total: $16,000,000
for
SF/PF Rashard Lewis - $17,750,000 - $18,750,000 total: $17,750,000 i accept. sad to see Chauncey and Butler and the young center talent Frye go...artest and the big ticket give me a two year championsship window...then when Dirk, KG and lewis will be FAs i'm gonna rebuild

Waiting on New Orleans, this is a weirdly complex trade.

This probably isn't the place to discuss this, but is KG's rating ever going to decrease? Is he still a 97?

This probably isn't the place to discuss this, but is KG's rating ever going to decrease? Is he still a 97? He definitely seems to be falling off a bit this season... yeah but dont forget BB is a game of Offense and Defense...KG always had a high overall rating cuz he can do everything on the court (Shooting, running, dribbling, passing, rebounding, blocking, playing D,...) his numbers are down, but he is still one of the best defenders in the league and still can do everything good...he just has a bad knee...but yes his quickness, stamina and injury proneness maybe needs a little drop. on the other side there a re a few one dimensional players in the league...f.e. Steve Nash, who is one of the most brilliant offensive PGs ever, but plays no D...or Zach Randolph, who has tons of offensive moves but plays no D...Camby is the counterpart
