I was just wondering if any of you guys consider yourself the rivals of any of the other D5 teams here? I don't mean like Lakers vs Celtics, I don't have a particular rivalry with LAL here. However, I do take special significance when I beat my division rivals; New York and New Jersey ;D These two are both original team owners from the start of D5, and we three teams are quite closely ranked at the moment. The rivalry is especially passionate for me at the moment because New York knocked me out of the playoffs last year.
I think all three teams have a great set of players too, complimented by genuine superstar players: Boston Celtics Perkins Bosh Deng Westbrook Deron Williams
New Jersey Nene Rashard Lewis Kevin Durant Danny Granger Jameer Nelson
New York Yao Ming Antonio McDyess Grant Hill Dwyane Wade Jason Kidd

Yep, agree aswell. The atlantic is pretty stacked looking at those players.
I know I'm not involved in this one, but I'm pretty sure Utah/San Antonio are two main rivals in the West

I do have a bit of 'hatred' towards Utah since they kinda 'stole' Pau Gasol from me. No offense Utah. Just trying to have some fun here

Yea I'd agree that San Antonio is probably a main rival of mine. We beat them 2 years ago in the playoffs and then they beat us last year in the playoffs.
I'd say my main rivals are probably...
San Antonio (No explanation needed) Denver (Division) Minnesota (Division) Phoenix (Met in the 1st round of the playoffs back-to-back years)

Come to think of it, I used to have a big rivalry with the Miami Heat when the guy from Brazil was their owner
We met in the first round of the playoffs 2 years in a row, and I recall a lot of trash talking during those series

My two main rivals would have to be Utah and Minny. Utah - we always seem to be neck and neck with each other jockeying for the top spot in the league/west. We've had some epic playoff series as well. Minny - I'm sure everyone remembers when he upsetted us a couple years back

Haha so it was Dallas! Now I recall seeing some thread like that. At one point, I had the best frontcourt in this league this would of been my starting line-up PG Conley SG somebody (Wally maybe) SF Odom PF Dirk C Gasol Then I started, PANICKING and made STUPID trades, and now I have none of them.

Not that there was much doubt that the Spurs were our arch nemesis before these playoffs but losing to them in the West Finals this year solidified it. That makes it back-to-back seasons San Antonio has eliminated us from the playoffs. It also makes 3 seasons in a row that we've met in the playoffs.
Guess there's always next year...

um lets see the Pacers don't really have Rivalries in here yet but maybe Memphis Grizzlies just because he wanted me to lose in the lottery and every time i faced him I wanted him to win so I could get John Wall.

Well I wouldn't disagree but it is not much of a rivalry and what is there is the most pathetic rivalry in sports since we had 33 wins combined this season.
