Sign your Second RoundersEven though you've picked your second round draft picks, they are not automatically signed to your team's payroll (like the first rounders). If you wish to claim your second rounders you must post in reply to this thread before adding them to your team's salary and depth chart: - State the name of your player.
- State which second-round-deal you wish to offer your rookie:
- Deal 1 - (a two year deal worth $1,000,000):
- 2007/08: $500,000
2008/09: $500,000
- Deal 2 - (a three deal with a team option):
- 2007/08: $500,000
2008/09: $600,000 2009/10: $700,000 (Team Option)
- Your salary cap doesn't matter when you're signing rookies. Teams over the cap aren't affected.
