In the past we haven't had a MLE, but this year I'm considering it. Not all teams will be active this Off Season, they will be above or close to the salary cap, but a MLE of $3million to $5million will give them a reason to scout for players and become involved in the Off Season Free Agency period.
I'm interested to hear all your thoughts on the matter. If you have any input to give, please post in this thread.

in the real NBA its: $5,854,000 $6,322,320 $6,790,640 $7,258,960 $7,727,280 (like Artest or Ariza got it)
i say definite YES for a MLE, cuz everything which is realistic and keeps the activity up is great for a sim league... a plain $5,000,000 with a $500,000 max raise is good and easy!?

I would support an MLE also. 5 mil with a 500K raise sounds good to me also.

I agree that we should have MLE here, but we shouldnt be able to split it to more than 2 players IMO.

Yes, the MLE will be split between any number of players. I'll be keeping a tally which details how much MLE each team has remaining.
Personally I like those real life figures Atlanta quoted: $5,854,000 $6,322,320 $6,790,640 $7,258,960 $7,727,280

Reward points of course will be able to extend the MLE.

I suppose also, the MLE will not just be a resource which can be used during the Off Season, but can be spent on regular season free agents too.
It will reset itself around the time of the start of every Off Season / end of every playoffs.
It cannot be used to re-sign your expiring players.
