I accept. Me and Miami talked over this deal longer than I have before on any other deal I've done. I'm doing this trade for a number of reasons: - I'm going to shop Boozer for a Small Forward once I've done this, that way Bosh can move to PF, Perkins can move back to starting C and hopefully I'll only have to re-sign just the one hugely important player this Off Season. The use of reward points in re-signing and extra measures to prevent the nonsensical fleeing of big names from teams will stop re-signing from going rather badly, like it did last Off Season, I'm not worried about that. I'd just prefer to focus my re-signing efforts on one player alone.
- In the meantime, Bosh will play C and Moon can take Josh Smith's starting job.
- I'm also doing the trade because keeping Rondo, a potential all star point guard, on the bench all season would be a waste of his talent. Combining him with Josh Smith for Chris Bosh is a good way to maximise the talent and stock value of my lineup instead of having a half decent team sitting on my bench (Varejao, Rondo, Moon, Tony Allen etc.).
I hurts to see Rajon go, but he'll be happier where he's going, with a starting job and nice Miami sun. I'll miss ya buddy

Oh yeah I should mention something that I forgot, Miami: Josh Smith is injured until late November (in game time), so that will hold up this trade even longer than Steve Francis in the Toronto/Dallas deal
